What is it with you guys trying to get me to kill FOLDATRON? 

Just hit 500K points with this last WU. Glad to be a part of this! I've got my main rig folding overnight at full power and during the day in the background while im WFH and I have my shitbox server held together with duct tape and dreams doing it's best. Plus my PC at work going at it too.

I have picked this back up for COVID-19 after not doing it for a few months. I have been running my main rig i7-6700k and GTX 1070OC, my main laptop i7-2720QM and another laptop with a Core 2 Duo T9300. It actually works out quite well if you're on lockdown working on a remote system. Getting through quite a few work units for Team LTT!

So the bill payer put a stop to me folding, as it was going to increase the electricity bill by ~£30/m which is understandable.
I've gone a few days and this topic has blown up even more than it was wow!
I've decided to run just a couple of WUs each day - I'll get my 780 working and tell it to finish and then my 980 usually runs one or two more than that, so at least it's something and it won't have such a big impact on the electricity bill.
With that said, I had a phone call earlier and have managed to get a job for the next few weeks at least, so I'll be able to contribute towards the bills, so may be able to get up and running 24/7 again. But, as it's only a 780 and 980 I think I would prefer to put a better GPU into the machine which will use a similar amount of power but be able to contribute more to the project.
My brother's 1660 ti is very affordable card and was doing fairly well with the WU's so that's an option, though I doubt I'll end up replacing the GPU's as it's not an essential thing to buy at the moment.

I overslept today, whoops, woke to my room being 32C I guess been a nice steady WU flow over night.

Also last week was Team LTTs highest ever production, go team!

Ha, well in the long run that would pay off, but the cost of getting that all set up is far too much form me.
I'm going to try and fold what I can each day, a couple of WUs here and there. Once I've finished my degree and I'm earning and paying the bills I can go all out.

Signed up just to say that I was watching the WAN show and heared about this project, and I've just started folding for the first time under the LTT team. Really awesome community response to help fight COVID-19, keep up the good work 👌

Hi, I'm pretty sure the protein viewer is broken in this version of the F@H client and I seem to remember reading that they aren't prioritising fixing it for now (as they need to prioritise servers and WUs etc.)

Hi, this is an issue with Google Chrome (and I have noticed Chromium Edge too). To fix this you can open the web control in an incognito window, or use a different browser.
  
I'm not using my CPU to fold, but as there doesn't seem to be a difference in PPD I'll leave it how it is - no point trying to fix something that isn't broken!
 
It should do, I was able to borrow an old GTX 780 from a friend - it only just fits in my PC, but it was a case of plug and play (or, fold)!

Started folding two days ago, but didn't know there was a LTT team.
The 1,4mio points were made without a team, but as of now, I joined the LTT team.
PC is running 24/7 right now with Ryzen9 3950X and an AMD Radeon 5700XT.

Joined the forum today once I realized LTT had a team!! Of course they do!!

Broke a million for the LTT team over night it seems.
 

Just picked up a ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 2080 Super for $650, comes on the 27th so I can get that bad boy in the fight right on time 😎
