Had a small scare whenever there was nothing showing up during a quick POST. Flashing the BIOS saved the day. Big thank ASUS.

The GPU chip suddenly failed out of the blue. The temps were always fine on thatmachine. The thermal paste was replaced and the heatsinks were clean and it failed after 8 years. Had a good run. Will be hanging the logic board on a wall at some point.
15” HP Gaming Pavilion will ship tomorrow.

Despite what I said about the Cooler Master NR600, I pulled the trigger on a Fractal Design Meshify C knowing my components wouldn't fit. I mounted the fans between the front mesh and the chassis instead of inside the chassis, but to do so I had to remove the plastic support structure and front sound deadening/dust filtering foam to fit it. Even so, it fits like a glove and I'm really happy with it so far. If I want to revert the case to stock in the future, I'll buy one of Fractal's replacement mesh panels, maybe in a fun color.
