Not unless your CPU has integrated graphics. But then you could just plug into one of the display outputs on your motherboard.

A good fan setup will never cool as good as water. Unless it’s a very, very poor water setup. Put a block on my 1060, mainly because it’s identical to my 1080’s.  Air cooler didn’t hit 40c that’s for sure.

Hi @Ggrandmaster I recently was asking the same question about my Zotac RTX2060 6gb. Either people saying that you don't need to water cool or basically saying your wasting your money trying to water cool a RTX2060. Yes, this is true, but then again these days a good fan performs just as well as a water cooling set up and cost a heck of a lot less. Most people who water cool do it for the aesthetics. And a lot of us choose the RTX 2060 because the price difference isn't always a matter of a few hundred dollars. Where I live, the price difference between a RTX2060 and a RTX2070 was $500 CDN. That's a rather large difference in price.

I contacted every water block maker I could find. All were very responsive to my inquiry. Bitspower and Bykski were the only ones who had blocks that matched the pattern of my graphic card PCB layout. I choose Bykski. The block itself looks great, with a very high build quality. The only problem is that there is no contact between the GPU die and the block. I will be solving this by adding a copper shim, just like the old nVidia laptop mod. The copper is on order and should be here withing the next week.

Strip down your card and take some really good pictures of the PCB. I placed a ruler the was marked in cm's, (nobody uses inches out side of North America) of my PCB so that it would be easier for them to find a match. You might have to do a minor mod like I'm doing, but your graphics card will have a nice block for your loop!

Also, check the video BIOS collection at techpowerup.com to see if there is an updated VBIOS for your card. Techpowerup has a very large collection of VGA BIOS's that will improve the performance of your specific card.

If you are gonna use something like that, it will work because the gpu has the same spacing. Prolly isn’t updated. Should fit all the same given mounting for the die should be the same size.

Then buy a compatible kit, as that is the real factor for fitting the card. Depends on how much you wonna spend and how much room you have. I’d get a 240 cooler for it as more is always better.

It is a waste to liquid cool a 2060.  You might as well save that money then in the future sell your 2060 and buy a 2080...  I can get same overclocks on water or HSF.  Just the temps will be less but who cares.  As far as noise, that is another thing if you dont use headset when you game then its gonna be a F14 Jet in your room and liquid cooling the card makes sense to shut it up.  But don't expect higher frame rates... Just not worth it.  If you use a headset then don't bother.  Also on desktop the video card is silent.  So ya only reason to do this is if you dont use headset when you game and what not.

If you insist then go for it but don't expect to get a rocket ship in return, as it will perform the same.  Heck I have a 15 to 20 percent OC on my card and its the same to me.  Also you risk getting the card wet and killing it.

What is your reason for wanting to water cool this 2060 ?  By the time you put it together your going to want something faster and you have a big hassle to put the video card back together to sell it and buy something new.  If you had a 2080Ti then I would say ok water cool it its worth it as the card is so expensive spending a little more wont hurt it will just shut it up when gaming and what not.
