I tried Nord before PIA but got terrible download speeds, unfortunately. Not really sure why.

An anonymous person post on an internet forum claims something controversial is happening.    I can't say I've never seen that before. ?

I thought they didn't store any data -- so even if they were issued a warrant, they wouldn't have much to hand over.
Also not exactly uncommon -- assuming it's a time limited wide-range non-compete -- which is what it likely is. My non-compete limits me from doing anything similar to what my company does (which covers a massive range of areas given the diversity and size of the company) for two years.

So, the two or three times they've been asked for info is...? They had nothing to provide means that they handed over everything?
 
As a PIA user, I may have to cancel my subscription and move to NordVPN. I do not want to be supporting a company whose management forces this kind of behavior. 

So its an anonymous post, SUPPOSEDLY by an employee, and the allegation amounts to whining about his boss being too demanding, spending money on a nightclub and having people sign non competes and NDAs for payment?
 
Yeah I don't care. Even if it was true. If its against your labor laws, take them to court. Otherwise QUIT. 

Man that soon to be ex pia employee's rant letter, is much worse than the nigerian prince spam from years ago. At least the prince was more believable.

If this guy ain't careful he'll be facing a defamation case as well as no job.

So... Management is shit and corrupt? How is that news, that's how it is in nearly every company.
If you, as an employee, find that your employer is doing something wrong, just issue a complaint anonymously to the authority body in charge of workplace safety or whatever it's called in your country. Doing an "exposé" like this is just a good way to make sure you never find a job in the industry ever again.

This is a non compete clause and is quite standard in business.

Its his money he can spend it on what he wants.
 
How are we suffering? The service is well priced and works well.
 
Does PIA even hold customer data? i was given a auto generated username and password when i signed up. all they have is my paypal email.
 
Its just a salty ex employee venting, trying to make something out of nothing.
