    i think upgrading your ryzen system to a 3700x or even a 3900x and a 2080 super should give you what you need without needing two systems.

    yes, it's quite good. if you are planning to edit videos/do some high workload, a 3700x is better. the 9700k it's not bad anyways

    If you even have to save up, that CPU choice is rather poor. Keep in mind that Intel is cutting compatibility again

    Oh... um... I think DPP is photos only. But the link may give you access to other Canon software, too. Sorry, didn't read the whole original post. ^_^;;

    Pointless when built-in video encoders, especially on Nvidia Turing cards, are this good. Either you get a Threadripper 16 core and run x264 slow (if not very slow), or use NVENC already in the 2060S. (or whatever the gaming system has)

    btw for the crashes, it could be Asrock's problem as they arent really known for the best of software

    At that budget, there's no reason to compromise really.

    July 7th the new Ryzen series of PCIe 4 CPUs will be dropping. We don't have unbiased benchmarks yet, but they will likely be a better buy than the current Intel offerings based on price and performance. (Currently claiming a 1-3% single core lead over 9th gen Intel. We'll see. Even if it's 1-3% behind, it would be the better buy, though.)
    An RTX 2080 could technically be squeezed in here, though if we don't want to have to draw it in tight, a 2070 will be more than enough card for the games listed (and plenty more!)
    Ryzen 7 3700X for a great price to high performance value. Should benchmarks prove unsatisfactory, an 8700K/Z390 UD could swap in at a similar price point. X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING, Dark Rock Pro 4, and the MWE Gold will support stock use and overclocking. Great cooling unit on this 2070 at a solid price. This will easily support the games listed and pretty much whatever else you want to throw at it. 27" 1440p 144hz 1ms G-Sync monitor to really get the most out of your gaming I included an inexpensive, but solid performing keyboard/mouse combo. I've got one myself, and love it. The RedDragon S101 is equally nice for a low cost. This should leave you a bit for a desk. I'm not sure what you're looking to buy in that regard.
