Leadex III 650w have finally arrived. It works and didnt explode
I thought i'd be OK with hybrid mode "1" - the described fan curve setting looks reasonable, but sometimes the fan spins when i browse the internet. Once i switch to mode "0" the fan stops so i guess that is something to to with hysteresis.
Strange because in aris review he said he could not find an audible difference between 2 eco modes, well i have.. Really wonder what could possibly heat up the components so much at low load that the fan decides to spin. Well it cools down and stops pretty soon after it turns on, but anyway i prefer mode "0" for desktop and browsing.
Other than that there is no coil whine or buzzing or whatever else, but the PSU smells terribly out of the box  
I recommend leaving it with the fan mode "2" for a day and open the window in you room to get rid of the smell

Yep, it's Seasonic Focus Gold / GX, if we're talking about Antec HCG Gold (there were older HCGs and also very similarly looking Bronze one on some Andyson platform).

If you have some good memories about Battlefield 2 and maybe tried Project Reality mod for it - i can with full confidence suggest Squad.
Just check out some videos to see if you are really into it, it's not dead, it's fun when you get into a good and well coordinated squad, it has big maps. It's not super hardcore like Arma, but not as casual as modern Battlefield games either. There are no unlock system or microtransactions either, you buy game and you can just play it and devs add new maps and factions for free.
There is also Rainbow Six Siege but this might be too competetive for one's liking.

Ugh. I think i have the issue resolved, at least for now.
I have made an application specific profile in NVIDIA control panel for Shadow of the Tomb Raider and noticed that it had global parameter for monitor setting set to "global" which in my case happens to be g-sync (because of primary monitor, and my TV obviously does not support it). I switched it to "fixed refresh rate", also enabled ultra low latency mode and locked the FPS at 30 with Riva Tuner - now FPS stays at 30 with 33.3ms frametime like it is supposed to be. Nothing bad is happening at least for now, the 4k is on and HDR is properly detected and displayed, one of those 3 things i've made helped for sure.
