I love my Dell Alienware AW3418DW .

I'd go for which you find first honestly.

Whoops sorry. It’s my first time. Budget= around 400 dollars and 1440 p. No curve and no ultrawide. The budget can be raised if needed because I don’t know very much about monitors. 

I'm hoping they are going to be released this year I'm saving to replace this 1080 ti.

Total waste.  As much as I am a fan of AMD CPUs, the I7 9700K is a fantastic chip, especially if you OC it.  Absolutely zero reason to change anything especially since it would be more of a sidegrade (stock) or even downgrade (if you OC the 9700K) as far as gaming is concerned.  Your not going to see better performance out of the 3900X until/unless upcoming, as of yet unreleased games, start taking advantage of all those cores the 3900X has.  It's going that way but I would expect at least 2-3 years before we start seeing core counts being more important than raw clock speed for gaming.

Windows 10 is a good OS.

Awww hell yeah, should be! I run a 25" 1080p ultrawide, that's already quite crispy, due to being smol. 1440p UW at 34" is gonna be reeeeeeally damn nice. 

I've decided to go ultra wide finally ditch multiple monitors on my desk and go with the Dell Alienware AW3418DW it's on sale on dell.com for 599.00.
 
I am really excited to play Red Dead 2, Skyrim, and COD Modern Warfare on ultra wide!  Hopefully its crisp!

Hardware unboxed on youtube, has a great part 1 and 2 video for the best optimized settings for this game.

I actually just switched from the Corsair M65 PRO RGB to the Corsair Scimitar Pro RGB.

Dark Pro 4 is pretty beast aswell, and cosmetically more appealing than the NHD15 imo.

1080p is where you'll see the biggest difference when it comes to gaming.. The better/faster the processor, the better FPS you will see.. If all you do is game, then you made the right choice. Intel right now, is still the best CPUs for gaming at 1080p.

It will be fine.  i7 3770k was / is a powerhouse CPU especially for its age.  What people tend to forget, not everyone is running at 144 FPS, on 1080p or 1440p.  Even if you put a RTX 2080 with an i7 3770k on 1080p or 1440p you going to be at 60 FPS.

Hey guys first post wanted to share my first build.  Wanted to go with black theme on inside since the case is black on inside and white out on the outside.  Looking to add an rgb strip perhaps to make my red led on my gpu and mobo and also maybe suggestions on a set of PSU extension cables red.  Any suggestions would be awesome as to what would work with my parts.

It seems the node pro from the pictures I see only have the two plug-ins. You may want to go for the commander pro if you still want the extra fans and lighting strip.

As @Ravendarat said, you don't need a commander pro.
