    I understand that this was posted years ago when the 5K240hz gaming monitors were hard to find with unstable in quality (of cause listed more than USD $3000).
    Finally, 2 weeks ago during the Cyber Monday, both  Samsung and LG had put the 5K240hz monitors into special discounts (lower than $760).  So I got a change to get one
    o many users asked to unbox and test setup with external KVM switch that can support this very popular gaming monitor (the one of the best selling 5K1440P 49inch monitors for the Cyber Monday, 2023).
    We got the monitor (LG 49GR850DC) (on 12/11).
    After we got it, we have to upgrade and refresh the GPU driver/firmware installed on the gaming PC connected to make sure the GPU support DP1.4 DSC protocol.
    The testing result was very well. We can proof that the advanced DDM 1.4 KVM switches DO support 5K1440P 240hz gaming monitor and 5K1440p 60hz Dell Ultrasharp U4924DW monitor sharing AT THE SAME TIME.

    Yeah it's really annoying when a seller doesn't tell you what model it is. Thanks. 
     
    Thank you for all the information. I wasn't sure with the used market changing so much right now how I should approach this. Your response helped.

    I'm new to audiophile and just bought HiFiMAN Sundara headphones and iFi Audio Zen CAN amp. I have a msi x570 tomahawk motherboard. Don't know if it matters but I also a have a 3.2 type c. With all these ports I wasn't sure what cord I need to connect my amp to my pc. Also should I eventually buy a dac. Thanks.

    More annoyingly there will be multiple viewers and they will have different looking screens.  Particularly if they’re viewing in fluorescent light.  Fluorescent light looks white but it usually isn’t.  It’s often green or pink.  Then there’s incandescent light which is yellow.

    I was interested in web design and that does make sense. I could have the best screen but if the viewer has a crappie one there not going to notice it.
