There isn't really a set temperature, but even 90c isn't something to freak out about. I wouldn't shoot for that though..

VRMs. they need to be good quality and *require* good cooling.

NOTE: here im showing you example of quality in numbers. quality of VRMs also depends on the actual modules. in general, just go with higher number vrm = better.
