edit: i believe prime95 started a heavier test and my package, cpu core 2 and tmpin3 temps spiked up to 85 for 30 secs then they went down to under 70

Temps look fine my man. Congrats!

Hi guys my current setup is

CPU 8600k

FAN hyper 212 led

GPU 1060 6gb

PSU corsair cx550

MOBO msi z370 a pro

im already overclocking at 4.8 at 1.350 at safe temps(70-75 while gaming)

but i was wondering if this mobo can hold this overclock, i have this feeling that maybe the mobo is a bit too cheap / poor quality and i want this pc to last a few years at least.

thanks in advance.

Watch your motherboard temps in HWMonitor (or whatever you use). Remember that your motherboards VRM temperatures can achieve higher safe temperatures than the semiconductors on your CPU. That motherboard is a little cheap and doesn't have great VRM cooling. Post a screenshot of your temps while gaming and we'll see hot it looks. Worst case scenario is you knock down the OC a little bit.

instead of gaming can i test it with prime95 blend test?

also in HWMonitor where can i see my vrm temps? is it TMPIN5, TMPIN 3 or CPUTIN?

I often stress test with Blender and the Car Demo on their website. Tough to say which of those are what exactly. Send a screenshot of your temps while under load. Generally VRM temps stand out above the rest.

There isn't really a set temperature, but even 90c isn't something to freak out about. I wouldn't shoot for that though..
