pskarz's Achievements

  1. The fact that it played Doom @ 14k feet But really, love the looks. Simple but still stylish. Also like the fact they didn't skimp on the ports. Even like that they have a DVD drive. Too many laptops now give way too few ports.
  2. EVGA's are great for nVidia cards. I don't play DOTA2 or CS:GO but I do play Wildstar and I run 2 evga gtx 760's and at max settings I get between 50-70 fps while out questing and much lower while in major towns.
  3. worst was the timing belt. supposed to be changed out every 60k miles i believe and i never once replaced it and it had almost 200k miles on it. sold it without getting it fixed and i have 0 mechanical skill so not 100% on this but I think it slipped and started running funny. at idle rpms would bounce up then slowly come back down to normal. had other issues like abs didn't work from when i had wheel bearings replaced and the shop that did it broke some ring and i never took it back to get fixed. that actually made the car more fun to drive, easier to lock em up. it also needed new head gaskets when i sold it. Red Brake Calipers = more POWAH! just ask the Mighty Car Mods guys LOL
  4. Pretty sure I said that in my post with the "if I had actually maintained it better." line lol
  5. I had a 2000 Subaru Impreza OBS for about 6 years and put 140k+ hard miles on it and loved every one. Was very reliable right up until the end and I'd probably still be driving it if I had actually maintained it better. Great fun sliding her around corners on back roads even with only having the 2.2L engine and completely stock.
  6. Next-Gen Gaming. Can't wait to see what else steam and nvidia will cone out with. Maybe some remote game stream on devices other than shield.
  7. Classic Start will also do this. At least the start button, not the tray in the bottom right.
  8. Couldn't find the link I had before but I am pretty sure that the link below is the driver I used to get it working. Killer Nic Driver Only
  9. I recently rebuilt my main rig using the MSI GD-65 board and really like it. Only issue I had was finding a working driver for the E2200 Killer Nic. The one that came on the driver disc, on the msi site and the qualcom site all had one issue or another. Finally sent an email to MSI support and they pointed me to a working driver.
  10. I name mine after the dragon aspects from Warcraft lore. Main rig is Neltharion, homeserver box is Ysera, HTPC is Malygos and the other box is Alexstraza.
  11. Hopefully by now you have your answer but I was wondering about this myself and found the answer at this site. http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1799286 According to them you should be able to just re-install Windows without losing your RAID. Different version of Windows Server but I would imagine it still applies.
