RTX 2060 would be the ideal card (assuming your CPU wouldn't bottleneck it).

Yeah USD. Oh, that's sick. I'd probably prefer an Nvidia card for shadow play then.

Also, freesync works with Nvidia cards now.

My budget is $350 and right now I have an R9 380x, which isn't awful but it's pretty old. I was thinking about the Rx 590, but I've seen a lot of controversy around that card. I haven't been in the market in a while so I'm kind of lost on the Nvidia side. The goal is 1080p 144hz gaming, and to not have to upgrade for a while. My CPU is an i5 8600k btw. Thanks!

Side question: I have a 144hz monitor with free-sync but no G-sync. How bad would it be if I got an Nvidia GPU? Because then I wouldn't have free-sync(AMD GPUs) or G-sync.

I would recommend the Logitech Power Play for charging up your mouse, and you can decide on what Logitech mouse you want.

If you're not planning on overclocking you can drop to a 600 or 550, I would strongly go against buying refurbished PSU's since they can take the entire system down with them.

Aren't passive coolers just fin arrays that get the airflow from the case?

I dunno, probably thinking of server chassis or deployments.

Any high-quality Surge Protector will work, just make sure it's the first thing that's plugged into the wall and everything else goes into it. I'm thinking that all surge protectors are the same with the exception of probably USB ports or extra buttons.

    I agree, grab a 2600 and a decent card, maybe like a 1060 6gb.
Is this like a dual PC setup? One for gaming, and the other for streaming it?
