  1. Big improvement from my 1060 lol This is stock for gpu, havent played with oc
  2. I truly couldnt care tho its truly entertaining to watch people overreact about stuff that they only got a tiny portion of the facts. I enjoy ltt content, i watch ltt content. His buisness practices have no effect on my life
  3. Updated my gpu to the asrock challenger 7800xt from a 1060 6gb...1440p ultra is great now...luckily i went with reference size, bigger wouldnt fit with my rad there..eventually i need to update my case fans...leds are kinda dying on them
  4. Im glad amd priced this where it did, the comparisons to last gen dont really mean much to me...just ordered one yesterday, should be a great upgrade to my aging 1060 6gb.
  5. yes but he didnt mention an actual budget just an fps target
  6. if you want 144fps you should go 7900xt, this will do 70-100 in most titles 1440p high/ultra.
  7. i mean i have a 1060 6gb card currently, just ordered the asrock 7800xt challenger card from newegg for $500 usd and it came with starfield premium free worth $100 so id say its a great time to buy, especially if your coming from a much older generation. Great price and if you dont currently have a 6800xt then the improvement comparisons to it mean nothing in the real world to you.
  8. honestly just a more powerful version/successor of the switch, I think thats also the most likely scenario especially given Nintendo's history of backwards compatibility and the success and size of the library with the switch. As for features, I would like a better friend system... friend codes suck, also customization of the main home screen
  9. idk i would have to say my 3570k... still in use in my brothers pc to this day
  10. I want amd to bring it this time to yes make the gpu market as a whole cheaper...and given I'm looking for an upgrade this fall, I currently got Nvidia but I'm not a fanboy either way, for me whatever card has the best price/performance at the resolution I want is what I will buy. I really do hope AMD cards step it up this time around tho, would not mind going back to AMD gpus
  11. Wasn't there a video a few months ago about another lab? Is this the same lab or is this a new one? Im confused Edit: Nvm missed the part at the end where they mentioned lab 1
  12. i play on both, i got like 8 different consoles over the generations and i got a pc. For me it depends on the game, sports and racing titles even some rpgs i prefer on console. They play well, and i can sit back on my couch and play on my 4k tv. Other games like mmos or mobas, or Bethesda's games given the modding capabilities or shooters/fps i prefer pc. Certain games i have bought in both places or played. Quite honestly unless you got some super high end pc, the difference these days visually is so minimal on current gen consoles. The thing your missing is graphics settings you can adjust ofc but for me both are fine.
  13. Ps2,ps3,ps4 xbox one x dreamcast wii u Nintendo DS SNES N64 Sega genesis ... so a few.. All but my n64 is hooked up(gotta buy a power cable for it)
  14. i got disc games from ps1 and up and they all still work, treat them well and you will have them a long time. if buying them just buy from reputable sellers. Many times disc rot you see reported is from games not being stored or treated properly.
  15. man this thing just updated on its own and i hate it. cant see a way to just select the folders i want to sync and it no longer lets you exclude extensions so its trying to sync a new several hundred gigs to drive. like wtf google.
  16. ehh the wii u is kinda underrated, had some pretty good games.. The worst part about it was that gamepad.. break it and your looking at $130 to replace it
  17. i want a ps5 but i will wait till i can get a used one for half the price like i did with the xbox one x... $500(or more from scalpers) for a few sony exclusives simply is not worth it tbh
  18. personally id go 32gb of ram given the price these days, also id never pay $100 for windows 10.. you can get a key off ebay for $6 and ive yet to have an issue with it and most sellers will send you a new key if you do

  20. My latest obsession... Got into ESO... for a MMO, it really is a good looking game and very well done.
  21. Never bought refurbished individual components but i have computers and monitors from newegg and have never had an issue with them, most have come looking new practically. Buy from a legitimate seller and you shouldn't have issues. Avoid the sketchy accounts on ebay.
  22. you know this chart is amazing... given i got a 1060 6gb right now, think im going to go with a 3080 now for the 1440p... the sheer fps increase is just gonna be insane..
  23. usually once it stops performing well or it fails. In my current case, i got a 1060 6gb, great still for most 1080p but given i upgraded to a 1440p 144hz monitor, time for gpu upgrade as the 1060 struggles.
