  1. To add to this, in photography you typically turn image stabilization off when setting your camera on a tripod or just on a table or other such surface. Image stabilization will go nuts trying to stabilize itself when there's no actual movement. I don't know the science behind it, but I know I constantly forget to turn it back on after a long tripod shooting sesh xD. If possible, I'd try and find a setting to turn that off in the phone. See if this works for you
  2. We can't give you recommendations on bootleg keys, it's against the rules here. Not to mention, with it being your OS where you're likely to log into sensitive accounts and such, you're much safer buying a real key. But I would try the key transfer via an MS account first.
  3. My English isn't all that great so that's how I interpreted it. But that's even worse, and definitely an overreach on the bank's part. I guess they're worried about a data breach from some sketchy third party app a user has installed skimming info, logins, etc or something? But then that would mean they have horrible security to begin with.
  4. Personally I'd never install a banking app from a third party store. The only reason I could see is using an older device that is no longer supported. But even then, if I'm doing anything like that on my phone, I'd rather have an up to date one just to be safe.
  5. I understood maybe half that. More like a quarter of that. There's no perfect response to a situation like this. They responded in a pretty good way I think. They told us what they were gonna do, showed us how they were gonna do it, and now when the next "normal" video is uploaded we'll get to see for ourselves. Don't be a middle school English teacher, don't look too deeply into everything. Sometimes it's okay to take something at face value.
  6. Oh it's only an hour. But you have to take US 222 which is ass. I'd recommend calling up Lester to find the nearest helicopter.
  7. Nah, it should be held in Virginville, PA. That's 99% of the fanbase!
  8. inb4 Apple cease and desists them. Hopefully not though, getting an OS to run natively on Apple silicon would be pretty baller.
  9. CrystalDiskInfo https://crystalmark.info/en/software/crystaldiskinfo/
  10. Ever since this GN video came out there's been nothing but weird and unnecessary threads like this. OP I get your concern, but they more than likely were asked "hey, do you feel comfortable modeling the underwear?" And they said "sure, I'd love to!" I mean, they were most likely working on it in some way to begin with. I personally would not model anything like that. But that's just me.
  11. Unless you really want to dive in and learn and do a fun diy project, I'd sooner recycle the current bank and get yourself a newer much more powerful one. Just my two Canadian cents.
  12. Newegg used to not charge sales tax, which is something the state of PA asks you to report if a business doesn't charge it. Of course I'm not gonna tell on them, I don't have to pay sales tax so I'm fine with that. As long as not paying VAT doesn't get the consumer in trouble, it doesn't matter on our end. But LMG could face serious fines, or worse, if proven to be true. As for Newegg, I haven't used them in a few years so idk if that's still true (I don't trust the way they package and ship items anymore).
  13. Can confirm this. I hand delivered a car to Florida from PA (very special case) and although I took the autotrain down, I drove back up in the car they traded in. I stopped off in another state on the way back to visit family. But from there I drove strait through, 13 hours, and that was only possible because I didn't have near as much required from me while driving. Granted I was still tired after it all, but that's because I chose to drive only at night, so I hadn't slept in over 24 hours. Was a fun experience actually.
  14. This seems so wasteful. Most people aren't gonna want another subscription for something they'll seldom use. The hardware could be used elsewhere in production, or to help make more of something the cars actually needs. Lexus currently has lots of cars, but most only come with one keyfob due to the "chip shortage". It's hardware that will sit there and do nothing. Maybe the next person that buys the car used will want it? But then by that point the hardware may be outdated and/or unsupported.
  15. It's funny how once you've built yourself a competent gaming pc that nothing new excites you as much until years later when you can financially justify spending that kind of money again. (holy run on sentence batman ._. )
  16. Would a pinned thread in Tech News work? I feel like when "tech standards" are changed it counts as tech news. Though I'm not sure how pertinent those changes are to the average user or most of us on this forum for that matter.
  17. I had a Seasonic x650 watt gold for a good decade before I bought my current psu due to just needing more wattage. The Seasonic still rocks today powering an overclocked FX8320 and an r9 280. If you have a higher end unit (like most offerings from Seasonic) then really you don't have to worry at all. 5 years isn't much in my book, you've still got lots of life left in your current psu. Then again, I'm the same person who thinks 100k miles on a car is still low enough mileage.
  18. Would something like this work? I'm not sure in what direction you'd need the angle. But it does say 270 degrees https://www.amazon.com/Warmstor-Adjustable-Rotatable-Extension-Gold-Plated/dp/B081VQ8MC5/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=hdmi+swivel+adapter&qid=1689215335&sr=8-3
  19. I was in your same exact boat just a week ago. I decided to get a NAS SSD. I went with the WD Red 2TB SATA. The reason for going SATA was because I wanted easy physical access to the drive, I didn't want to have to tear out my GPU to get to it. I actually just finished transferring all my data over today. I feel pretty good about going with a NAS SSD over an HDD in general. Though I should do the smart thing and have another backup of that, offsite...
  20. We need more of these. I just like seeing all the rando tech, like the Optimus Prime. I'd actually consider buying one at some point. Hopefully you guys keep making these here and there; It could be its own series!
  21. There's gonna be lots of r34 stuff... (hopefully ._.)
  22. Always unplug ALL drives except the one you wish to install Windows on. Sometimes it puts the bootloader on a different drive than itself, which can cause issues if you ever swap that other drive out or it dies.
