    Ryzen is way better, you should be able to grab a 1600/2600 and a B350/450 Pro4 for the same price, if not less.
     
    Not all EVGA power supplies are good, specifically what model did you pick?
    500GB isn't terribly big for games, aim for at least 1TB.
     
    MSI Armor heatsink is pretty trash, don't get it.

    From the looks of it, this is a cablemods custom sleeved cable/extension. I would recommend just go and buy a replacement. Even though it has the extra side tabs, it would be better to replace the cable than risking damaging the Mobo, especially if it is an expensive one.

    But when I set up my PC in the beginning, it was on this very monitor. If what you said was the case, it shouldn't have shown the BIOS in the beginning as well. BTW i did update the BIOS after setting up my PC, but I don't think that must be causing the issue.
