The LTSB really can't be compared to the regular or the pro Win10, seeing as it's completely stripped of all the BS and only gets the most important updates.

We can mostly trust TB on this matters so everyone should wait or watch out playtime not to go over 2 hours. 
 
EDIT: Updated to reflect the patch. Performance seems to be demanding but with some key settings being easy to reduce (Reflection Quality afaik) to achieve average 60 FPS on midrange cards like the 1060 or 480. Also seems to be very CPU intensive.

It was boring from what I've played so far.  Just another typical BF game with a new skin.  They should have forgone the whole "Battlefield" formula and gone pure trench warfare, like the majority of WWI was.  Guess they can't, though, gotta appeal to that lowest common denominator.

last game I bought was GTA V, and there's just nothing worth picking up everything is either broken ass ports or rehashes from Ubisoft

MSI files are Windows installer files. They won't work on Mint.
There is a GNU/Linux version of LogMeIn Hamachi, but it is text based only. There is however a third party GUI for it that you can install. Here are instructions on how to install both Hamachi as well as Haguichi (at least on Ubuntu).

Get BF4/BF4 Premium

Get BF4 Premium Edition instead. I got it along with BF3 Premium during the Spring Sale a couple of months ago and have no regrets

Their motherboard has been serving me fine for past 2-3 years.

Figured out the solution.  Since my 970 is being RMA'd right now, I am using AMD.  Since I installed the drivers the issues occured.  As soon as I uninstalled, it fixed it, but I needed drivers obviously.  It seems that if "AMD External Events Utility" is NOT running, it causes Steam to act up.  If it is not installed, or RUNNING, then Steam works just fine.
 
I find it silly that something like that can cause this issue..  I don't know if this will be the case for everyone, but this fixed it for me.
