    chromebooks are quite good for light work. If you are using office 365 it might be better to go for a windows laptop. If youre used to or are already using google system with documents and drive and all that. Theyre a great option. If you want i can help you find a good laptop for you.

    The 1070ti is much better value and is virtually the same as the 1080 with slightly lower clock speed and vram, so I would go for the 1070ti

    The 2700X definitely has the edge for that kind of work. If you wanted to stick with Intel, then it would be better to wait for their 9th gen chips.

    To be fair to Nvidia it is a decent GPU, but it is much more expensive compared to the release price of the 1080ti which is still such a powerful GPU. I mean Nvidia could have easily priced the 2080ti much lower at around $700.

    Prices are already back to before the mining craze for the most part, and they're probably going to up in January thanks to the trade tariffs... (Thanks Trump. Real smart there) Unless you're not in US.
