I'm just setting my priorities in order and the PSU is an exception since my old grey antec one works again it just needed a dusting. I'm gonna have like $200ish to spend and my parents I think are willing to help with the 8086k and the meshify C so that leaves me enough for the other parts excluding the psu

Hi bros, My friend is planning to upgrade from thinkpad gaming and has a budget of $700 usd. He's going to be editing and doing gaming at 1080p+144hz. He wants to get Halo and him and I play a lot of csgo. He's not sure about other games since he's never been able to really try them with a thinkpad. Here's the list I made. i think im just going to use my seasonic m12 ii 620w even though it's not a great PSU. I don't think it'll be too big of a deal until I can get $80+ to get a better power supply for the new computer.
I think I'm going to use my current PC to run a KZ server for my friends so we can practice long jumping and shit

I wouldn't say it's super bottlenecked but your CPU is just kinda weak with only 4 cores. It also depends on the game. You can't just get 144 in every game because you have a good graphics card, etc. The 2400g can easily do csgo at 144 but definitely other games like gtav. You could just get a 2600 or 2600x for cheap and put it in the board you have right now and that will help.

I think I can finish my computer this christmas though I have to sacrifice some other things I wanted. In the long run a PC is better but I would love these air forces since the colors are some of my favorites and i haven't seen someone else wearing them
I think I'm going to hold off buying a good psu and just use my shitty seasonic m12ii 620w until I can somehow get $80ish for a better PSU.

a 2700x is a decent gaming cpu (it's kind of meant for more than just gaming though) make sure you're getting a good motherboard for it, a reliable b450 board perhaps.

@dizmo thanks for caring it seems iffy to me because I usually ride on the sidewalk on the left side of the street on my way to school since the bike lane is pretty short in comparison of how long my ride to school is. I was in the crosswalk when he nudged me, so I'm not entirely sure but I keep getting told I had the right away. Anyhow, it was both me and the guy since I went out and he wasn't looking right. I wish people wouldn't just look left because they're turning right, thats how I've almost been hit every time up to yesterday.
