  1. As far I know surface is the best however there are some Asus Transformer books which are pretty dope too if you wanna go real cheap then check out the hp stream 8 which linus talked about http://store.hp.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ContentView?eSpotName=Stream7&storeId=10151&langId=-1&catalogId=10051

Typical "oh crap I accidentally installed the 32 bit version instead of the 64 bit version" happens to everyone
  3. I guess its when the coils make some really high pitched sound, I had that issue before with a $30 PSU, when the pc was turned off it made a really annoying high pitched sound, same issue with my asus monitor btw, it grinds my gears really bad and even gives me headaches
  4. Since I don't really have to say anything to enter this contest I thank linus for entertaining me on a daily basis, teaching me lots of stuff and giving me the idea to move to vancouver cheers josh
  5. I like the waterproofness and the camera of the phone, these 2 things add up perfectly for undewater footage! I'd love to have a Z2!
  6. The favourite thing about the laptop is the matte screen, my macbook's glossy glass display makes it almost impossible to use in bright light so this notebook will sure perform better in that way.
  7. What I like about the LG G3 is the fancy user Interface, it seems that they really did a great job giving the user a great experience, also I'd love to try out the screen of the G3 in person wowza it has the same resolution as my macbook retina and even that is pretty darn high. Im just wondering if its really worth putting a such high resolution screen in such a phone? I cant really believe that!
  8. Hey guys, I just saw this AMAZING video and it seems like this thing would be the solution for most of our problems! "Years ago, when the phrase "Global Warming" began gaining popularity, we started batting around the idea of replacing asphalt and concrete surfaces with solar panels that could be driven upon. We thought of the "black box" on airplanes: We didn't know what material that black box was made of, but it seemed to be able to protect sensitive electronics from the worst of airline crashes. Suppose we made a section of road out of this material and housed solar cells to collect energy, which could pay for the cost of the panel, thereby creating a road that would pay for itself over time. What if we added LEDs to "paint" the road lines from beneath, lighting up the road for safer night time driving? What if we added a heating element in the surface (like the defrosting wire in the rear window of our cars) to prevent snow/ice accumulation in northern climates? The ideas and possibilities just continued to roll in and the Solar Roadway project was born." So what do you guys think?
  9. yeah I saw this, I NEED THIS D:  if it has mac osx drivers it would be awesome
  10. Err I got a macbook retina, could I just buy this thing and hammer a 770 with a ext psu in there? what about the drivers n stuff?
  11. Well I dont exactly know if it would bottleneck bf4 that much but if you say it will I don't know. I thought more about the limitations with the external card which may throttle down the speed. Now if you see it from the CPU perspective do you think it will really impact that hard on the performance?
  12. Hey, I've heard about those EGPU's which allow you to connect a PC grade grapics card onto a Laptop with a PCIe Slot. Ive found a such module which looks like this: I saw that the Intel NUC-Kit D34010WYK - Intel Next Unit Of Computing - with Intel Core i5-4250U has a such port and wondered if I could connect a 280x or a 770 with its full capacity on there I've heard that those slots are limited but I'd like to know if I could connect a high grade gpu to it  -josh
  13. If it supports triple monitor (excluded the internal one) then I'll buy it, but it doesnt seem like that
  14. LOL I just wasted more than an hour reading thru this thread laughing and im still at page 52 of 72  bookmarked for later
