Hey there, i tried to make myself a mod bios today to get my nvme pci adapter working but I was out of luck hence the bios needs to be signed.. Asus doesn't want to make me a custom bios for that. is anyone here who has something like this working in a propper manner?
-
Tried to do the same.. Using an ASUS z9 PE-D8 WS with two e5 2670's (total of 16 Cores à 2,6Ghz (32Threads)) and a GTX 770. I can not get anywhere near bare performence using unraid to virualize. Using Unraid 6.1.9. Does someone have the Unraid 6.1.3 version Linus used? Maybe there is a quirk here or there.

The Projector definetly has potential upon being a very effective and storage unintensive projector for Home cinema and Presantation use. Through its portability there are endless options regarding the usage location. I'd love to get one of these.

I'd like to refer to Microsoft for that point: Converting a disk from MBR to GPT through CMD: Open a command prompt and type diskpart. If the disk does not contain any partitions or volumes, skip to step 6. At the DISKPART prompt, type list volume. Make note of the volume number you want to delete. At the DISKPART prompt, type select volume <volumenumber>. At the DISKPART prompt, type delete volume. At the DISKPART prompt, type list disk. Make note of the disk number of the disk that you want to convert to a GPT disk. At the DISKPART prompt, type select disk <disknumber>. At the DISKPART prompt, type convert gpt. if you have a usb drive with a windows installer on it you can run that and press shift + f10 to open up a cmd which can be used to do the above aswell. Check the back of the card for anzthing broken of or such, and check the fan header *if its accesable(

My fav on this one is the PSU for sure. It delviers constant and almost perfect Voltage on the different rails and is stable in operation aswell. Through reviews I have noticed aswell that the fan is damn quiet and that thing is a pure beast. So PSU as fav on that one!

The 900 Series is pretty neat, but It seems to me like a too small step considering the performence differences between 970 & 770... But fair enough the pricing and power efficiency pullt that one off by a fair amount. I LIKE the 900's
