  1. RMA the board. And hope that you gpu and cpu are ok.
  2. I have a vega 64 Red DEvil water cooled and looking at benqmarks normally is at the lvl of a rtx 2070. If you get games dx12 and vulkan it goes close to the 1080ti. But mine is maxed out with powertables 1750mhz and 1150mhz hbm2. It all depends on cooling, they are very hot and can use with a oc around 380w. The best advice that I can give is, get a cheap 5700 with 3 fans and put the 5700xt bios on it. Good luck
  3. I do watercooling for many years 2007 i think , and go with a all metal block. In time any plastic or acrilic will crack and you will get water droped on that gpu. Just an advice.
  4. JUst go to the ek site and use the configurator if you want ek
  5. Heatkiller 4 block all metal soft tubing from alphacool Enermax neo pump you already have a card with a waterblock Rad just get one from blackice or alphacool get a 45mm one Fitings I do like the EK ones
  6. You can still do undervolt , And just get better temps. Oc the vram , normally that gets better performance on the Polaris cards
  7. DOnt use afterburner for AMD card. Afterburner only uses P7 state Use the amd drivers and tweak all of the PStates. Clocks and voltage related to Pstate. Put 50% powertarget and start lowering the voltage until the clocks start droping, now you know how your card realates to the voltage. Then start increasing the clocks until you got to the point were even if you put more voltage the clocks dont go up. For the memory is a bit more complicated, with HWInfo you can see at X speed if the memory is droping errors like crazy its the last line on the gpu bit. Like this on my rx480 I was doing 1500mhz and 2000mhz vram. Watercooled
  8. Hello, by steps, I have the same board and also had the same issue in the past 1 - Keep bios updated with latest version, realy helps 2 - Remove Cmos Bat and wait like 10 min, go make a cafe and relax a bit 3 - Swap the memory from slots not mixing the sticks 4 - On mine before I swaped to a 3900x I was running a 1600 with 4ghz oc, what I do is put the multi to whatever and then go to the ram turn on xpm, without issues. On my 3900x im running 2666mhz ram at 3200mhz cl16 4 sticks Good luck
  9. Those temps are normal dont worry about it. You can undervolt the cpu a bit if you want
  10. CHeck on alphacool or aquatuning. They have a configurator use it and I bet they have something for you card
  11. Liquid devil has the best cooler and bios to oc
  12. What water blocks do you guys use to cool the 3900x and what temps do you guys get.?
  13. Seems like its normal then. It normally runs at 60c in games but spikes allot. Still maybe someone has some more information about it .
  14. Test done, Cpu z benqmark 3 runs with filter and 3 runs with no filter 81c with both . So gpu was not an issue here as was siting at 30c. I really think this block is not very good for ryzen cpus.
  15. I think airflow is not an issue, I have the case full of fans , so 360 rad is 6 fans in push pull and the back one is pushing in air so it dosent use hot air from the case and the 3 top ones are pushing all of the hot air out, and its hot, I even removed the top filter. I have to use a filter in the front, 3 cats in the house, clean the filter every 5 days. I have the fan stoped from 0 to 40c then to 700rpm to 65c then at 85c then go 100% I really dont know how to cpu gets 30c more then the monster vega 64.
  16. Hello and thank you for reading. Ok so my loop goes like this: Enermax neo pump + res combo does like 4500rpm very powerfull pump I think, normally I run it at 1600rpm for silence reasons, goes to Vega 64 with a Alphacoolblock its a GPX-A Vega M07, then to a 120mm radiator a slim on on the back, then to Cpu block a supremacy evo all metal and then goes to a raykintek calor 360mm 65mm push pull. My case is a Fractal R6 360mm is on the front and 120mm is on the back My cpu temps normally stock run at max 80c and gpu 53c. I tried many times mounting the block with diferent pastes, Or the block needs more contact and I need to put some washers or is not good for a chiplet cpu. I was thinking maybe replacing the block with a Heatkiller 4 all metal, I dont like plastic block because they tend to crack had a bad experience. I think the pump is powerfull for this combo and I also took care of all the air inside the system, even had the case upsidedown , 1 hour of removing air always fun. Loop is clean and I use just water with mayhams drops to get rid of green nasty stuff. Atm im using the cpu with 44.25 44.25 43.50 43.50 1.36v and still goes to almost 80c. Do you guys think its the Ek block or something else. Thank you in advanced.
  17. Hello. It can be a bios issue . So you can reflash the bios maybe it will work . Another solution is take the fans out and use 2 120mm fans or 2 80mm and connect them To the board .
  18. just oc per ccx 44 44 43.50 43.50 1.36v low riple take pbo to off state.
  19. Just having some fun with the 3900x. Is this any good? https://valid.x86.fr/tsqxmg
  20. Vega 56 is more powerfull. Get a Saphire one or Red devil. dont get blower ones.
  21. Ok, clean the card, get an old toothbrush and clean the card with an wd40 for electric. Now use DDU and clean the drivers. I know artifacts Now put the card in and use the card in -50% power. Hope you ate least get it semi working so you can at least have time to get a new gen one. If not nothing wrong with a 5700xt nitro, its well priced I also have a vega 64 watercooled and mine is unmolded so I know the strugle with the hot spot, there is nothing you can do.
  22. I have a 3900x on a x370 gaming pro carbon my setings are oc per ccx 44 44 43.50 43.50 no pbo 1000w on the ppt amd overclocking seting for voltage 1.36v -100mv offset llc lvl 3 , lvl 1 if the top low riple corrent I get around 7800 on cine 20 Stock does 7300
  23. you can, im running 16g dominator 3200mhz and team group t force 2666. I run then at cl 16 3200mhz without and issue Make sure you have the slow ram kit on the 1 recomended slots.
