  1. No way this will be shipped at $349. Material and production costs are simply too high for folding phones with these specs right now.
  2. No offense, but this is probably the worst place you could ask for dating advice. This is a tech forum, not an advice column.
  3. Finally upgraded my monitor, coming from a 1080p 21inch 60hz LG monitor from 2009, its definitely a massive upgrade. I picked the Omen X 35 because I really liked the design and the panel seemed good enough. Also the price I paid for it sealed the deal, £291 with free shipping on amazon. The monitor is basically brand new, it still had all the stickers and accesories, no cosmetic damage aside from the box. Inside the box Monitor was really well packed with foam, which was nice. Before purchasing I knew that the omen x 35 had some faults when it was first manufactured, so i was a bit concerned. Luckily I got the 2018 model with the updated firmware ax161 which fixed the ghosting, overshoot and gsync issue. My panel was really good, no dead pixels and the backlight bleed is very minimal, hardly visible. I downloaded an icc profile from a reviewer which improved the greys, but a friend is lending me his spyder 5 pro to properly calibrate soon. Anyways, i'm super happy with it, it is absolutely stunning and immersive as expected. For £291 I cannot fault it at all.
  4. A used surface laptop is a great bet. I got my surface laptop 2 (256gb i5) for £500 a month ago and its a beautiful, incredibly well built machine. Another option would be a used/new Hp elitebook, something from the 800 series most likely. An 830/840 G5 or G6 would do him well as they are very nice machines with good build that can be had for sub 500 easily.
  5. mi 9t or mi 9t pro. No contest really.
  6. For the online work, most of the sites I used to use are no longer profitable or no longer exist, aside from a few which are no longer accepting applicants. Like I said, do some searching and im sure you'll find something.
  7. It got released, and is availible to purchase. I believe it just got buried by other devices such as the mi 9t/9t pro, which are far better value and even better in some ways.
  8. Mainly buying and selling goods for profit, as well as repairing devices. As a start last year I just did some online work, basically testing websites and apps for a decent pay without taking much time.
  9. Personally id suck it up and save up for the pc. At the beginning of this year I was in a similar situation, had no cash and only an entry level gaming laptop. However, throughout the year I managed to save up for everything you see in my signature now, all the pc stuff incl. monitor and peripherals costing under £1000 through some great deals I was able to find. Its a hard road to go down, took me about 4 months of hard work and saving before I could afford all that but having gone through it, id say its worth it. For reference, Im 15 and living in the UK. There is money to be made if you look hard enough, and you'll need to if you want the pc. Personally Id say go AMD, a ryzen 5 3600 is a great bet.

You cannot exchange that note at a currency exchange. It is no longer valid, the new Zimbabwe dollar is now in use in the country. The note is worth 40 cents USD.

Alienware is probably your best bet, but if you happen to want deeper blacks for movies and yt then you might want a VA panel found in the benq.

Alienware is the best all-rounder imo. x34 is decent too. Do you want it for gaming, watching movies, creative work?
  13. Don't get me wrong, I do agree in that the seperate devices would do their respective jobs better, but you cant exactly fit an ipad in your pocket now can you?
  14. Sounds like a case of Touch IC to me, you will need to get this repaired. This isn't part of an update released by apple, it is a fault that was present in the device from the start but takes some time to show up.
  15. id go for the 840 g6, they are incredibly well built laptops and should last you a long time. Expect the fans to ramp up under load though. Keyboard is decent from my experience.
  16. 1. Supposed to be durable, designed to last 300,000 opens and closes, basically a lifetime of use 2. Any phone with a glass back will be breakable, if you drop phones at all, you will need a good case. I recently cracked my mate 20 pro with a sub 1m drop. 3. Yes, there will be some flip cases available
  17. Id upgrade the gpu, that will see you the most performance upgrade. Cpu and everything else in the system is still relatively competent.
  18. From my expirience with the H500, temps are fairly decent in the stock config, 69C on my 2600 at 100% load with stock cooler, and 85C at 100% on my GTX 1080 with a blower cooler. The stock fans are a bit loud but not as loud as my 1080 in games, and with a headset on its inaudible of course. Can reccomend the case, it was incredibly nice to build in and cable managment is top notch.
  19. Like I said, If your parents aren't going to let you build a rig (even with your own cash) then you aren't really going to be able to build one. You could try to explain to them that building a pc would teach you skills that you can use in the real world, that you will learn so much about technology, that you will use the pc for good (e.g studying, folding, etc) but regardless of whether all this is true or not, chances are that they won't change their mind, at least not in the short term, chances are its gonna take at least 6 months to get anywhere with them, but this time spent trying to convince them is likely a waste of time (from my expirience).
  20. From my personal expirience, here is your answer: If your parents are not going to give you the money to buy a gaming pc, and you cannot work to obtain the money to buy a gaming pc, then you cannot buy a gaming pc. There is no workaround. Its called being a kid and yeah it sucks. All I can suggest is that you try and save up as much money as possible to buy yourself a rig, and if you have no money to save, then you cant have a rig just yet. Maybe you have to wait a few years. When I was 10, all I wanted in the world was to build my own PC. I was living in brazil at the time and had no way to make money and I recieved no allowance from my parents. I didnt have the money to build a PC, so I didn't. I spent my time learning about technology through the internet, and I hoped that one day I would finally be able to buy my own rig. Now, I live in the UK, and still dont recieve any real allowance or money from my parents. However, I hustled and saved enough to build my rig on a decent budget of £500. The saving took about a 8 months, but I acheieved my dream. What I am trying to say, is that If you cant get the money to build a pc, then you are just going to have to wait, It sucks but it's the truth.
  21. Good build, but dont get the Gigabyte Vega 56, it has many issues.
  22. ahhh ok that is cool. Especially if you can play switch games, i might try it.
  23. AFAIK that is the only way to tell the diff between the models. GL
