    IEMs for gaming

@The Flying Sloththank you, but I cannot access those as I do not have Amazon here or the retailer itself... the only options for me, at the moment, is that list @rice guruI want IEMs because of the summer heat. The over-ear headphones are a bit too much for my ears as I heat pretty fast, even with the open-backed ones From where I posted in other forums, most of them recommend the FiiO FH3, which I think I'm going for.

    IEMs for gaming

Hello, As the summer heat waves hit pretty often now, I am starting to look for some IEMs that I could use mainly for gaming and some music (75% - 25%). The headphones that I use currently are the Sennheiser HD660s and Beyerdynamic Pro DT770 (250 ohms). In the past I had a pair of Audio-Technica AD700x, really liked their huge soundstage. What I am looking for is very good imaging and a decent soundstage. Unfortunately, my country does not have Amazon (yet), and I will not order from Drop as I am from Europe. The good news is that I have put together a pr
  3. Ok, thank you both. One last question: Do you think the DT1770 would be a more than decent upgrade or not? As for open-back headphones, I have the HD660s and will go for an AKG K712 (for more soundstage.
  4. Hello, As the title says, I am considering upgrading my closed-back headphones, DT770 Pro (250 ohm), for gaming sessions . I will be using them for single-player and mild competitive FPS. What I am looking for is: Closed-back Very good imaging with a decent soundstage Fun signature, like a good bass response to feel the explosions and rumbles Max budget 500$ (I can add an extra 100$ only if it will be worth it) The AMP/DAC combo that I have is: Topping L30 + E30. I am from Europe from a country that does not h
  5. Thank you, thia really helps a lot. I will take the X2HR into consideration
  6. Thank you all for your input. Does anyone have the 2 models I wrote in my initial message? How do they compare to each other in terms of gaming?
  7. Hello, So, as the title says, I am looking for a pair of headphones that would offer the best immersive experience for single player games like: Red Dead Redemption 2, Witcher 3, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Dying Light, Skyrim etc. More precisely, I am looking for an open-back pair with a large soundstage and good / solid imaging. Gaming - music percentage: 70% - 30% The AMP/DAC combo that I own are Topping L30 + E30. The headphones that I owned so far and some thoughts on them: Sennheiser HD 6
  8. This is getting a bit harder... The difference between the E30+L30 and A50s+D50s+P50 is 400$ for the second stack. Does the extra 400$ worth it for the long run? After some research regarding the balanced audio, I think I need to invest more money for a good balanced amp and dac which unfortunately I do not have... Plus I don't know if I would be able to hear the difference for that amount of cash.
  9. Hello, I recently got myself a Sennheiser HD660s that is driven by a FiiO E10K, but I can hear that the true potential of the headphones is not reached. Beside the HD660s, I have a pair of DT 770 Pro (250 ohm). I want to get something better and my budget is ~870$. After a lot of research, all I can get in my country (Romania) are: Topping E30 + L30 Topping A50s + D50s + P50 iFi Audio Zen Can + Zen Dac FiiO K5 Pro I will use the headphones only single ended, 6.5mm jack. Please let me know what of the above is a better optio
  10. Thanks a lot for your help! I went for the HD660s just because I could get them localy with 2 years warranty, in case something goes wrong, I don't need to send them outside my country. If something would've went wrong with the HD58x, the service would take way too long... And I hear that Drop support isn't quit the best. Plus I can send them back for a refund if I don't like them. Got the 660s for 370$. Regarding the AMP/DAC, for the moment I will stick with my FiiO E10k and if it won't suffice, I will get some research done for this side. For tho
  11. @rice guru@Tigerleon I saw a promotion for a Sennheiser HD 660s + iFi Audio ZEN CAN for ~528$ ... I know it's double my budget, but I can manage it if it's worth it. What do you think? Does it worth to go all the way for this combo? Another combo I found at Drop is HD 58x + O2 Amplifier for ~ 255$... How about this combo?
  12. Thank you for your responses, I will take them into consideration. If you have any other examples, please let me know.
  13. Hello, I would like some help / recommendations for open-back headphones that will be used primarily for gaming. My gaming focus is immersion with great soundstage. My games of choice are single players, like Red Dead Redemption 2, The Outer Worlds, Dying Light etc. Competitive gaming is on the second place (Warzone, CS:GO etc.). My budget is 250-280$. As an amp/dac combo, I have a Fiio E10K which run my current DT770 Pro (250 ohms) quit easily. Maybe I'll upgrade to an iFi Audio Zen Can of it's worth it. In the past I had ATH-AD700x, but had to sold

Thank you everyone! I wanted to go with the BenQ monitor, but after some research I found out that it is not vesa mount compatible and has no height adjustment... So it was a deal breaker for me. I ordered the Alienware model
