  1. I saw the mesh system, is basically one router and then "stations". So the stations connect to the router via ethernet?
  2. I have a 1Gbps ISP at home. Right now I have 2 wifi points, one from the ISP's modem, and one a very old Router that can only do 100Mbs. Apart from the fact that I want something closer to 1Gbps Wifi, and maybe Wifi 6. I also want a "single wifi". A single router cannot cover the entire house, since the walls are made of blocks/concrete. The solution I have now requires me to manually switch the wifi I use, whenever I move to a region that has the corresponding router/wifi point. How do I get coverage of the entire house, but with "seamless" wifi?
  3. I already ordered Chromecast Gen 3, but not the ultra. I think Gen 3 support 1080p? And Ultra support 4k which I don't need?
  4. I have an Oculus Quest 2(A gift from work1). I want be able to see what a person sees when he plays it without connecting to a PC. So basically I think the quest 2 can use Chrome cast? My TV is an old Samsung TV, at 1080p(60 FPS I think) Basically the following TV(wasn't able to find on the Samsung website though): https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-LN46B550-46-Inch-1080p-Touch/dp/B001UE6HPM I can connect HDMI and USB. So how do I cast Oculus Quest 2 into my Samsung TV? What do you suggest?
  5. I don't like putting something under my feet because it limits how much I can rotate and change positions. If I had the same desk without a drawer, only much lower, would that be better? Maybe I just need a desk with a wider drawer, because this one doesn't have enough space.
  6. My table is also about 28.5" But my drawer is 23.6 inches. 28.5" is way to high.
  7. What should be the height of the desk without tray?
  8. "-If you're fighting K/M ergonomic issues. There's about 999 better ways to have a comfortable keyboard. I'm only 5'8", and I hate low desks. I hate keyboard trays/drawers. I want to move my legs around. I don't need Deep Vein Thrombosis." I don't understand what you mean by this?
  9. Thanks, Adding a USB hub that connects under the table at front is a good idea. The toilet paper... was when I was cleaning off dust and cleaning the cable I put in the wall, because for some kind of a reason the cables came out wet from the wall outlet(I mean passing the RJ45 through the wall). The ducky is a wrist rest. When using the mouse I lay the wrist on the duck, it does wonders and I have no issues with my wrist. What's good about the keyboard drawer, is that it's quite low so I can both have my hands held straight on the keyboard/mouse, but also I can
  10. I have done this simple cable management trick. However, the cables at front aren't that neat. How would you make the cables at front more tidey?
  11. Thanks, I did use this driver eventually, but wasn't able to read this old WD paspport drive. The driver did have a signature of WD when you install it.
  12. I found this website, I am not sure it actually belongs to WD, the certificate says imperva. Is it safe to download and install the driver for this old USB hard drive from? https://support.wdc.com/downloads.aspx?p=258&lang=en
  13. Budget (including currency): 2400 NIS. Country: Israel Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Playing music from youtuber/others with speakers. Recording audio for 24/7 sometimes.(not 365 days a year). Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): It needs to be a small PC or mini PC, so I can put it on the small chest of drawers on the side of the bad. I would prefer windows, but not necessary. If it's possi
  14. Yea, I think I need a bedroom mini/tiny PC in general.
  15. I have an issue with my neighbors, they some sort of hit the floor with something. It creates an annoying noise. It happens more than once or two a day. It happens to often, and I think legally it's a disturbance. My phone is actually able to record that noise, and record long enough. However, I cannot use my phone if I use it to record. What kind of recorder for NNR, even if not professional, but can record 24/7 you can suggest? Kind of hard to find this specific device on the internet. Most recorders are for voice, and I am not sure they will do t
