  1. Did you uninstall your old drivers from the GPU you had previous? Make sure it is seated 100% of the way and you could try testing it in a different PC to see if it is just a faulty card.
  2. Do you care about about all the fancy add-ons? RGB, programmable keys, etc.?
  3. Sometimes without even changing the boot sequence you are able to boot from another media. Opposed to pressing the f key that opens the bios, I think there is another one to select a boot device. Have you tried taking out the hard drive to try and test the USB from that point? if you can verify that it is able to start, then that'll put you a little closer to what is wrong possibly.
  4. As sad as it may be, it's sounding like it.
  5. You could try reinstalling the game or some games give the option to repair the game rather than reinstalling. Are all of your drivers up to date? And I know that because you have a 2080 Ti in theory you should be more than able to run the game at high/ultra settings, but you could try at lower settings and work your way up to see if the issue is something simple like that.
  6. Maybe this'll help a little https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/dp-support.251274/ edit: it seems like the most limiting factor of passive or active is that most devices typically have dp by default but if you want a super high resolution or really demanding refresh Hz, you may need a dp++ adapter.
  7. You don't have to quote me, I'm not the original poster XD
  8. Oh, I see. Definitely thought you meant something else XD
  9. It's a little more complicated than just moving to different outlets. You'd have to connect the cable providing a connection to modem to your room as well, thus still buying a longer cable. In the US, we use coax cables most of the time for example.
  10. This may be of some help? https://www.windowscentral.com/how-install-windows-10-iot-raspberry-pi-3
  11. DisplayPort x 3 (v1.4) / HDMI 2.0b x 1 https://us.msi.com/Graphics-card/GeForce-RTX-2060-GAMING-Z-6G/Specification
  12. This may help a little? https://askubuntu.com/questions/584248/boot-error-acpi-pcc-probe-failed
  13. Hmm, that is odd. But somewhat explains a sort of error from not shutting down properly.
  14. It'll be tough finding a monitor with 1440p and 144Hz for around $200 that is actually worth it. Really it just depends if you think you really need the extra resolution, if not you can probably get by with 1080p for quite some time.
  15. Did it stop working directly after you installed the packages?
  16. Did you migrate or a fresh install? You could just connect the drive and recover anything you need from it and do a fresh install? edit: Are you trying to overclock or anything?
  17. Is this a new device or a used one? Also really unless you desire the RGB and 100% control over the device, ya don't really need the cable. http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?p=941562 edit: Why did you try to connect it to an external usb? Can't that be done internally?
  18. Worst case scenario, you could go the long route of talking to customer service for both products if you can't seem to find the specifications. Better safe than sorry!
  19. Have you tried flipping through fullscreen, windowed, and borderless window?
