  1. It's so better. Get a Ryzen 5 now while it lasts. OC it with a B350 mobo get much better performance than your i5-6400. The 1060 6GB should still be fine in a couple of years. P/S: Can u wait until Ryzen 2 launches in April?
  2. See it for yourself here. My opinion: Worth it. https://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-970.146750.0.html
  3. Better go for an i5-8400 and a Z370 mobo. And if u can, upgrade ur gtx 970 to sthing like a gtx 1060.
  4. Better get a Ryzen 5 1600 and OC it, gonna worth more than buy a Ryzen 5 1600X, but get an AIO water-cooling, 16GB of RAM, with high clock speed because Ryzen works best with high clocked RAM, 550W PSU or around it, case of ur choice.
  5. U have $1000 for all, excluding GPU, Case, CPU cooling?
  6. ok u gotta buy an usb wifi adapter then, or bring it to the warranty center
  7. Well I can wait until Ryzen 2 or better stock on Coffee Lake. Now I'm gonna call that piece of shit that tried to sell garbage to me.
  8. I see the 9590 got better performance in multi-threaded, but not by much tho. WelI I think moving up to Ryzen 5 would kick 9590's ass.
  9. What's the difference between the R3-1200 vs FX-9590 in multi-threaded? Because I'm going to do some video editing on it too.
  10. Yeah it's called "silicon lottery". If you get more clock speed, you will see a performance difference. The i5-6600K can OC to 4.8-4.9Ghz if u got good cooler.
  11. But I want 8 cores... JK. But isn't that thing boost to 5Ghz? Don't worry about cooling I got an H80i cooler. And $70 is quite a bargain for 8 cores tho.
  12. Are there any big difference in Intel/Ryzen compared to the 9590?
  13. Long story short. My friend wants to sell an FX-9590 8-core for me. He wants $70 for it. Should I spend my money on it? Or should I buy an 8th gen Intel / AMD Ryzen new?
  14. How's it going Mike? Assuming ur name from ur nickname
  15. Whoa ok then. At the command prompt, run the following commands in the listed order, and then check to see if that fixes your connection problem: Type netsh winsock reset and press Enter. Type netsh int ip reset and press Enter. Type ipconfig /release and press Enter. Type ipconfig /renew and press Enter. Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter. If you want to check system files, you can run this line in Command Prompt as Admin: sfc /scannow
  16. u can uninstall the wifi drivers/adapter and then reinstalls it. Or else go out and buy a wifi usb adapter if reinstalling doesn't help
  17. Get the thing that will offer the best single-threaded performance. An old core i7-6700 or the like will work just fine. Or a 6-core i5-8400 is great too.
  18. Do you really need 16GB of RAM? Are you doing any other things besides gaming? P/S give me the pcpartpicker list if you can
  19. No is a real 8C/8T CPU but it's single-threaded and multi-threaded sucks. Buy an i7-2600 or the like.
  20. It's all fine, except for the m.2 SSD. I personally wouldn't use them, better use a SATA SSD to reserve the M.2 slot or use a high capacity HDD for bulk storage since the loading times speed boost is not that great.
  21. I would personally wait for the Ryzen 2 performance, or, if you insist, you can pull the trigger now since Ryzen SKUs just got dropped in prices.
  22. I personally wouldn't use an M.2 SSD, better use SATA ones, reserve that M.2 slot for future. P/S: When is your brother birthday? Ryzen APUs/Ryzen 2 is coming soon enough.
