This Der8auer tutorial should help, it's with an Extreme board but I imagine the formula looks really similar. But basically all you need to do is change the CPU clock speed to 4.4 and voltage to like 1.3 or something, should be good
And as always, keep testing to get the voltage stable, so if you have it set to 1.3 volts try stress tests with 1.29, 1.28, etc until it's as low as it can without crashing.

I prefer to use Aida64 to stress test my CPU.

cHaTrAp reacted to Tz000 in ASUS PG258Q 240hz , Go for it?
If all you do is play CS:GO and your actually really good then sure go for it but if you are coming from a 60hz monitor just get a 144hz 1ms 1080p 24" gsync monitor for 1/2 the price and you will be very happy with the performance good luck seeing the difference from 144-240 especially online where internet connection can add input lag etc into a competitive shooter.

Save half the money and use it for something else new mouse, better headphones pc parts etc or for a rainy day.

Dont impulse purchase things unless your a millionaire and wipe your ass with 100$ bills do smart research and figure out what your needs are and make an informed purchase and you wont have regrets.

RTX2070 would be suitable, but as @TheKDub mentioned, slight bottleneck with cpu.

What PSU do you currently have in your system?

I'd recommend the rtx 2060. It's fairly close in performance to the 2070 but for way cheaper. It's basically just a overclocked 2060 with 2gb more vram for 150 more. So unless you are playing 4k, then go for the 2060. And if you are playing at 4k, the 2070 isn't even the answer. The 2080/Radeon VII is your minimum really.

I wouldn't worry about it quite yet. The 4770K is still a very capable CPU, and as long as it's enough for your needs, there's not much reason to upgrade.

Given a few more years, that will change, but there will be newer and better CPUs out by then.

cHaTrAp reacted to 18358414 in recording for a whole year
is this for some kind of security system or just for lulz?

Depending on your codec, for 720p you might have a CBR encoder at 1500kbps (about 11MB per minute of recording) or you could have a CQP encoder which would be much more efficient in a lack of motion which would have a variable bitrate depending on the motion on screen (perhaps as low as 200kbps or 1.5MB per minute of recording, but maybe as high as 11000kbps in instances of high motions or 82.5MB per minute of recording).

A lot depends on the level of quality and what kind of codec you're using, but using these numbers you would look at a minimum of 788GB for a cqp recorder at 200kbps average to as high as 5.7 terabytes at the CBR 1500kbps.

Personally, I have a motion detection software running that only saves the interesting stuff so I don't waste space on a static image.

I have 3 pairs of these (one I sat on and broke, so I got another pair for work and then later one for home): https://gunnar.com/product/mlg-micron/

They regularly go on sale for like $35, and they're comfortable (at least for me) and look really good IMO.

If you seen people swap out the liquid on the h100, they modded it to get it back together. Not worth the time and effort.
Youll know when the pump is dead with temps never go down or the signal is lost.

Don' change the fluid, it' meant to be a closed unit. However, to answer your question it' usually a mix between ethylene glycol and propylene glycol to combat the effects of a mixed metal system.

Check its settings. It may be causing the problem. In particular, if the Avast Firewall is active and the Windows Firewall is also active, there may be a conflict. Disable one of them.
