  1. I previously used a DAC-X6 bought on Ebay for my DT-990 pro 250Ohm. And i can highly recommend it. Can be had for about 55-65 USD including shipping from China.
  2. I've only used DDU when going from AMD to Nvidia or vice versa. I don't think the drivers care much since you are going from AMD to AMD
  3. After some quick research i found what you are looking for. It's called an Automatic Phase Selector. And it does not cost an arm or a leg. ? https://www.dipolnet.com/automatic_phase_selector_pf-431_P1411.htm The only caveat is, there has to be 3 phases and neutral present in your intake panel.
  4. In my 18 years as an electrician i have never heard of this kind of equipment for the user market. There might exist industrial equipment like this. But like everything meant for the industrial market it probably would cost an arm and a leg.
  5. A USB DAC should do the trick. They can be had for a couple of bucks on Amazon or Ebay.
  6. Tidal does not send their files through a DAC before it gets to you. A DAC is an Digital to Analog Converter. This happens on your end. If your FLAC files sound "bad", it's probably a bad conversion, like 320kbps to 2000kbps like you said.
  7. There's no performance or durability difference between compression fittings and barb fittings. IMO barb fittings with hoseclamps are easier and more convenient. And cheaper....
  8. You definitely need both of the pci-e cables connected if your gonna play games. I bet you that "squeal" is an alarm telling you you need both cables. What PSU do you have?
  9. But you haven't connected all of the pci-e cables. Could that be it?
  10. I've got this in my pc running 4 fans.
  11. Looks like Bykski has one. https://www.google.com/amp/s/m.aliexpress.com/item/32818054240.html#ampf=undefined
  12. This has happened to me too. I'm 99% certain it's Spotify that is the culprit.

  14. Bandwith wise, HDMI 2.0 is leaps ahead of optical. You can't get Dolby true HD or DTSHD over optical.
  15. If you are going for a 4k tv in the future you should make sure the receiver can handle HDMI 2.0 and 4k signal.
  16. If you are using HDMI you do not need a sound card. And in the future if you are getting a receiver you would connect it with HDMI.
  17. DAC means Digital to Analog Converter
  18. Samsung 960 EVO or 970 EVO
  19. Here is a list of different substances and their thermal conductivity. https://www.google.no/amp/s/www.engineeringtoolbox.com/amp/thermal-conductivity-liquids-d_1260.html
  20. 3* About 2.5 years. Released May 16th 2016...
  21. I would say get the newest tech if you are planning for it to last 7 years. Pascal is already 2 years old at this point.... But, I would wait for benchmarks before i made the final deciscion. Why aren't you getting a NVME ssd instead of the SATA ssd?
  22. You could modify the powered speaker by opening it and splice in some speaker wires. Drill a small hole and running them out to the subwoofer.
