  1. I know right? Finally Naruto is over (or at least the real deal. If it continues it's just gonna be a gold digger story). But No Game, No Life is pretty awesome, even the light novel is read-able. Really? I was sure the 980 > Titan Z. Am I missing something here apart from 12GB of VRAM?
  2. Awesome! I guess now the only problem is to conciliate your free time between your love and your lover. Your rig is obviously both.
  3. How clean is the CPU cooler overall? If it's dusty and/or it has been sitting there for a long time without any thermal paste replacing, I guess you could try removing the cooler, cleaning it and putting some new tasty thermal compound.
  4. So I have to say I gave in for the chibby naruto avatar and No Game, No Life wallpaper. I was gonna say something like "Titan Z? That's bs, so overpriced and totally not worth it". Even though that's true and a 980 would've been way better bang for the buck, you might need it for some reason. Awesome build. Question: What will happen to the 690? You're gonna sell it?
  5. Get an EVGA SLI bridge if you can. Or any other brand. Some can be very pretty.
  6. What if I want the 500GB version ? Do I get my free gamessss ?
  7. This is awesome. Gonna play all 7 days and, if it's already a real game, buy it Will miss BF3 though.. love my Premium dog tags
  8. OS is all fucked up, takes so long to start, turn off, etc. I'm too lazy to format it and then have to handle with my ~2TB of data.
  9. If you have enough money for either one, obviously get the 980. If your budget is limited and, saving some money from the 980 would allow you to spend money elsewhere or something along those lines, the 970 will be a beast graphics cards for a long time on 1080p, no doubt.
  10. Best bang for the buck within all wireless headsets, no doubt. Might even be one of the best bang for the buck headsets overall, actually.
  11. You're very welcome for saying nothing! That's what I do all day long. Fuck me right? I never mentioned or compared any switches to others, only gave my opinion on Cherry MX's. Razer switches? Do they make switches? Wasn't this post about a new Logitech keyboard? Are you a fanboy of any brand? I'm not. When you spend enough time reading reviews you get to some conclusions, therefore, they aren't facts, just opinions and things that happened to people that wanted to share. And I do that when I'm buying anything, from keyboards to cars. If you want facts, I believe you came to the wrong place. Anyway, I'm not into internet arguments, I'm more into live action. Cheers.
  12. I need my rig to do some crazy stuff and, even though I believe a 4690k is enough, I'd rather pay the extra $100 (average) premium to get it. I believe the i5-4690k is recommended over the i7-4790k for people with low budgets where getting an i7 instead of an i5 means getting a lesser video card. If you have to choose between 4690k+980 vs. 4790k+970 I believe the 4690k combo is better for gaming but if your budget is not so limited or you believe you can make use of the double number of threads from the i7, then the i7 might be for you!
  13. When you buy a 200$ keyboard and it stops working within a month or on the week after warranty expires you'll understand what's so special. Cheers.
  14. I never get flagships cards myself. The x70 (nVidia talking) are always good enough and last for the amount of time I need them to. You'll be fine with one 970, if you ever need it, get the second one
  15. At 3x1080p, 4GB is enough for now. I believe a single 980 will last for at least 3 years running most games on Ultra. A Dual SLI 970 will perform better as long as the game can take advantage of the second GPU but won't leave you ways to upgrade your GPU solution in the future, if you want to. I'd rather get a single 980 4GB now and, if you feel the need, get the second one. It'll be cheaper than two 970s and might allow you to spend money elsewhere. But even a single 970 will be fine for a good time, not running everything on Ultra but close to that. Also, if more than 4GB becomes a need in the future, it'll be easier to sell a single 980 4GB than two 970s.
  16. I wouldn't mind for 8GB of VRAM. Even at 1440p it will probably not even make a difference if you get a 4GB or 8GB card. That's more towards 4K gaming. Also, I'd rather get a 980 now and SLI once you have the money instead of going 970 SLI right now. Best of luck.
  17. There's nothing wrong, just a lotta money being "wasted" for little performance gain over cheaper stuff. Won't tell you to get an i5 because I know what you mean with "tired of upgrading the rig"; That motherboard has many features you might not use... it's not very expensive but there are cheaper mobos out there that are also good; That memory is so unnecessary... I'd get a 2x8GB 1600/1866MHz from Kingston for $170; That SSD... I always say this and I'll repeat it: high performance SSDs are so not worth it unless you are actually going to take advantage of it... just get something cheaper and that has a better bang for the buck like the MX100 or 840 EVO; Don't get a 7xx gen nVidia card. 9xx gen is out and it's better in every way, just don't; Even if you triple SLI 980s you won't need more than 1000W. Get a ~800 PSU from EVGA or Seasonic; If you are doing some serious overclocking, sure, that's fine. If you're not, get something cheaper like the 212 EVO; I'd get a Blue or Green WD... blacks are a little bit overrated. Even more if you get a cheaper SSD but bigger (512GB); 750D? Kinda big but Ok I guess. Good luck.
  18. Using rubber grommets/gaskets for the fans, PSU and HDD/SSD help me a lot.
  19. All I needed. Will do once I have some spare time
  20. That's what he said . Is a murderous girl also a recipe for fun? Been thinking about reading the manga since the anime is so short.
  21. Just in case you end up getting an SSD, I'd get either the MX100 or 840 EVO. Best bang for the buck right there.
  22. G710+ might fit your needs.
  23. The 4790k had some quite hot batches so you might be one of those unlucky guys. Try out all your options before thinking it's a chip problem, although it's possible.
