  1. IE11 has it's kinks that it needs to work out. However, the layout is simple. Internet Options needs to go away. It's too confusing. How can IE11 be the only one that is ugly? Firefox looks like crap most of the time. Google Chrome is simple yet a bit too simple sometimes. Opera, heh, no. Safari is literally the one web browser that just looks appealing in my personal preference. Spartan is definitely a clean look and the built in voice recognition, granted it does well, might take the browser world by storm.
  2. What is the second picture left of the Kingpin? Is that the Kingpin I/O? Why would that even make sense when the card seems to take up 2 slots still.
  3. So they throw on more pins instead of adding 4 more slots for RAM. Excuse me, but the best thing about X99 and these enthusiast boards is to have that extra, unnecessary amount of available RAM.
  4. So the original picture now says that it the IPS version isn't 1ms. Tomshardware confirmed that it would be 1ms.
  5. The say that the monitor eschews the IPS panel. Right under the photo. It seems they are making two different monitors. IPS for those without a budget, TN for those with a budget. And you know something, Acer is undoubtedly the best monitor manufacturer in my eyes. They started the 144hz gaming frenzy and now they are taking hold of AVHC (form of IPS) to bring gamers what they really want. An IPS 144hz 1ms monitor. ASUS wasted time and money on a monitor that was only hyped with a TN panel and "overclocks" the monitor instead of making it switchable. Hello? If Acer can make TWO monitors with one having the same technology with switchable Hz and a second with IPS, I'm going to the Acer boat. I'm tired of ASUS being all fancy for gamers and not realistic with us. ROG should be for gamers and hear our cry. Instead, they did what we really didn't want. Thank you Acer!
  6. They should go away from SC for superclocked and instead with SDC for Superduperclocked.
  7. Well I have an MSI Z87 board at the moment. It's served me over a year now so it has been kind. But I have that gut feeling that it isn't doing too well. Plus, it has a stupid bright blue led on the mobo that ruins any color you throw in there.
  8. I work for Micro Center and we a part of Intel Retail Edge. They have a Winter and Summer deal so I got a 5930K for cheap (takes 6 weeks to ship that thing..) so I know the RAM I will be buying, (Cosair LPX...or Dominator) but I am stuck on what board to choose. I have it down between ASUS, MSI, and Gigabyte. I've seen mixed reviews everywhere. Anandtech and Tom's Hardware all suggest that the Asrock boards are the recommended or "smart buy". I hate their color choices. But, that doesn't mean I'm not open to them. I'm looking to do a tiny bit of overclocking and eventually a second GTX 980. Regardless, will be easy with X99 but I want to know if there are any issues out there. So if someone could lay it down for me and tell me the straight up answer on what are the best choices, not just one choice but multiple, that would help A LOT. I've heard Gigabyte has a lot of BIOS issues. I heard the same for the ASUS X99 Deluxe sooo... Even if you own one, that would also help. Tell me why you chose it and the pro's and con's. This build will be awesome and with your guy's help, can make this awesome. Can't wait to hear what answers there are!

    SAMPANATOR

I just don't see any point of using 9 monitors... 6 is enough really. Hell 3 plus 1 up top is perfect.
  10. So I never had any issues with MCC. What issues were there that made them release such a thing?
  11. So watching people like Singularity do builds for clients made me wonder. How could I start my own little side hobby business just building PC's for people? It'd help cure my need for building wanting to build computers. I assume Craigslist. Of course. Is that the best way? Also, I see some people get sponsored to do builds. How do I get in on that? If anyone has this type of business and can help, that would be greatly appreciated.
  12. Special offer? Throw it out the window. Too much heat.
  13. Get a GTX 760 or raise your budget some. You didn't clarify if you're wanting to do gaming (what games?) or just building a pc for whatever.
  14. This is crazy. I really hope we get to fuck up North Korea sometime. I may sound like an ass saying that, but they have literally fucked with us for too long and they treat their people like shit. They need a whole new restructure. Problem is, imagine if we do go into war with them. Guess who comes in to help them? China. It's like Battlefield 4 I tell ya. Too many countries will be involved and it would be a slaughter. Let's hope this simmers down... yet it might not at all.
