First thing, speedtest.com is bad and you shouldn't use it - fast.com is a better alternative. 2nd, you MBP has full 3x3 MIMO and should be a good bit faster in straight-up wifi speeds, you can use something like iperf to test that if you're interested. Chances are you're running into network congestion, either in a busy or bad wifi environment, or your ISP is getting crushed by everyone watching Tiger King in social distancing mode.

Looks like my graphics card is active! I was so confused why my new MacBook Pro is consuming so much power. Thanks for the informative post I'm pretty new to macOS and I'm planning on using it for college cuz I've heard it's reliable. So far my battery has only gone through about 4 full cycles so I'm hoping to see some better battery performance.

Thank you so much man! Hope you got your phone. Have a safe trip and sleep well!

This morning, I tried to use a wired Dell mouse instead and for now, the problem has subsided. The 2 different mice I used were wireless logitech mice so I guess it had something to do with it. They were all working fine before but for some reason every wireless mouse I've tried caused the stuttering. If the stuttering occurs again, I will submit another reply but for now, the wired mouse is working. Thank You to everyone who helped me with this issue. I really appreciate your help!

You're going to regret not getting an SSD. It's definitely a huge upgrade in today's systems.
The windows logo next to your hard drive is to tell you where windows is installed.

    1. No SSD?

    2. Check whether the peripheral works

    3. Connect to the internet

    4. Download apps (I suggest starting with anti-virus ones, though I myself start with Google Chrome)

It should splice into a PWM connector with the fan itself, then you just plug one connector in.
