No it isn't the box will be receiving data from your router wirelessly and then sending it from the booster to your PC by the ethernet cable. This is not an ethernet connection although your computer will see it as such. Why do you ask if you don't mind me asking?

Have you verified that the bios on the board is up to date as some boards need a bios update to supports Ryzen 3000?
