  1. Just wanted to say, that this is a true Tech Tip! Maybe I haven't been paying much attention, but I feel like a lot of the videos aren't really tech tips (not that the channel is supposed to be limited to those). Pretty cool though. Thanks!
  2. Quinn and MKBHD, and Brett deserved to be on that show. At least they really tried. Everyone else, especially the 2nd group of contestants were a complete waste of time. Didn’t even try. At least Linus tried even though he got the lowest score. Dissapointing show either way. Next time pick contestants who actually want to play. Not just because they’re the only ones you could get. They were only there to get paid. I hope they all at least put the full amount to charity.
  3. I think they uploaded this anyway since they don't want to lose on that launch coverage money! It's a very bad look though, the review doesn't come off well. It's unfortunate that it will become more ammo for your haters to call you out on your integrity.
  4. Don't know what I like more, the Madison video making it up on the wall, or someone making an executive decision to exclude the firetruck video from the running (how could you?).
  5. Did this video come out because of that Hardware Unboxed video?
  6. I think if you guys had wanted this to go viral, you should've had a complete video. It's kind of a let down.
  7. I was wearing my hoodie (LTTSTORE.COM!) and a friend of mine asked if I was a fan. I said yeah I guess, hesitating a little, but then reflected on it afterwards. After thinking about it, yeah, I’m a fan, but realized that one thing I really dislike about your channel is the inaccuracies you (and Luke) commit whenever talking about consoles. Doesn’t make me not trust you guys on PC stuff, but you guys are the last I would consult about anything console related, as you don’t seem to care about that much, nor care about inaccuracies you spout whenever you find yourselves talking about consoles. And you make these mistakes mostly on the WAN show, which nobody but your dedicated fan base watch. And they don’t bother to correct you at all. It’s infuriating to me, as you guys should hold yourself to a higher standard given the reputation of your channel being really informative, and something you take pride on. So yeah, an apology video was necessary, hopefully next time you try to avoid making the same mistakes. I don’t understand this tech fully at all, but I watched somebody else’s channel explain it and I did grasp a few things, and your comments when talking about it was so obviously misinformed. I was dreading this video was clickbait and you’d double down. Thank god it wasn’t. oh and while I’m getting things out of my chest let James speak on the WAN show for the love of god goddammit... thanks and keep it up. This is an awesome channel.
  8. I thought it was a good video. Always like it when there is some kind of discussion going on, instead of Linus (or anybody else on the team for that matter) just going through talking points. It feels more engaging. But, that ending is kind of a let down. Kind of feels like a cop out / safe non-answer. I think you should be a little more opinionated than that. At least answer why, for you, pick a service and state a reason. Would have liked to know what James prefers too. Like, Stadia, cause I believe Google will get over this issue they're having with "no games" and it's available on #everything. GeForce Now, because I already have these games and I just want to play them somewhere else, and if the service dies, I still have my games, I just need to buy my own computer. PS Now, because I love PlayStation exclusives, and this is the only service you can get them. And XCloud, because fucking game pass is awesome, and it doesn't hurt that I have an Xbox at home...
  9. So I googled this after watching the video, and unfortunately I’m still a little confused. There’s WARP, and WARP+. Put simply, I guess what I want to know is: What’s the difference? Is WARP plus exactly the same, just faster? No other benefit? Is WARP (not WARP+), totally free (looks like it) and encrypts traffic from my device, like a regular VPN? Cause that’s what I really want from it. Not having IPs masked actually serves me very well so not an issue for me, just want to at least encrypt data on public, guest, or hotel WiFis.
  10. I guess I know the answer to this already, but I signed up for an account way back and even if I don't really hang out here I figured it would be just easy to post this thing that bothered me a few days ago. Is it intentional to just have sponsors at the top of your video description? I was bookmarking some channels to make it easy to find out videos I want to view and when I went to the Videos page of the LTT channel, all I saw was sponsors. Is it really necessary? When the videos show up on search results or even on your own Videos page, they're all just sponsors... and maybe get 2-3 words of actual video description.
