RGBLEDCPU got a reaction from whm1974 in Was Windows Vista THAT Bad?
I remember when I installed Vista back in the day on my ThinkPad (Intel Core 2 Duo P8400, 4 GB RAM) and the led that showed hard drive activity was constantly blinking. I went back after a week to Linux and KDE (I don't remember which distro exactly), because it was quite slow.

But that was nothing compared to Windows ME. That thing was much slower than Windows 98 SE or 2000, and it was bluescreening all the time.

With the rising GPU prices, this card could become a "budget gaming card" soon

I guess I'll just have to be seen as Luddite, but all these home assistant things are just crazy to me, especially with all the recent revelations that the CIA basically has access to everything.

At this point, they're all still more or less a gimmick. I don't need something to read off my calendar to me.

That kit has only two sticks, and 2 x dual rank should be better than 4 x single rank. It is also a bit cheaper in Hungary.

It is also not the end of the world for me if I can't get the RAM speed over let's say 2933 MHz right now. I need 32 GB RAM for my virtual machines, so I can't use just a 16 GB kit. I also read that upgrading kits won't always work, so it is better to get all the RAM in one kit. I am not sure if this info is true for Ryzen, it was supposed to be true for Intel, especially with the faster kits.
