  1. I have had the QC35's for 9 months and don't regret it, they are super comfortable, sounds good, ANC is amazing. There is not really any sound leakage, if you are looking for great traveling headphones you can't go wrong with the QC35's. From using them daily when I do groceries, when I go to pay and slide off the headphones I sometimes almost get surprised by how noisy the store is. The sound quality is not as good as my B&W P7's but pretty decent, on the other hand they are much more usable for daily use when you are not just sitting in from of the computer.
  2. Personally I don't care that much about the Intel or AMD chip part, but more about the motherboards. I just look at which m-itx is available and the features on that board. The perfect board for me would maybe be the EVGA Stinger meaning I would have to go with Intel. But that being said if you have a fixed budget and just look at most bang for the buck then the r5 1600 looks like the champ.
  3. As an engineering student do your really need to use 3d software that much? I went through both a bachelor and a master degree only using 3d CAD software one semester (I'm a mechanical engineer by the way). Personally I would say get the best for gaming as you might not use the 3d software the whole degree.
  4. I have had the QC35 for 8 months, the comfort is sublime and build quality is good. The plastic feels a bit cheap but helps with lightness and comfort, I would highly recommend them.
  5. On the NCase website they have a user gallery, in that gallery you can see some hardline builds.
  6. The fiberglass material is not categorized as LCP, Noctua says a Q3/Q4 release for the first LCP fan. Link: http://noctua.at/en/noctua-at-computex-2017
  7. As far as I know Noctua has not begun using the lcp material yet, the ones they showed at computex were prototypes still in development.
  8. Personally I would wait for the NF-F12, better bearing and the higher static pressure, but again I haven't begun building my first rig yet... Looking at the fan it looks to be airflow optimized, based on the blade geometry.
  9. Well it isn't clickbait if your are actually telling the truth...
  10. Linus seems optimistic that placement of heatpipes will make for good thermal management (WAN show comment). Maybe the DIY air cooler should be revisited for Threadripper...
  11. Looks nice. Only thing that bothers me is the two horizontal tubes, they do not seem to be parallel in comparison to the bottom and the top, but again very minor thing.
  12. I do not really feel it is a compromise to go with something like the Ncase or Dan case. Without a heavy overclock thermals and noise could still be held low, the only thing that is a compromise is the choice of ITX boards.
  13. I just watched the video and it was awesome, the "computer" part is, for me, kind of whatever but the whole cooling part and expandability was brilliant. Looking forward to the quantum computer unboxing releasing on youtube.
  14. Designated survivor Luke Cage Iron Fist Jessica Jones Daredevil Blue Mountain State The Blacklist Homeland Rick and Morty Archer Brooklyn Nine-Nine
  15. You could fit 2x240 rads in a Ncase M1, don't know if that is extensive. Seen pictures of it and it looks dope AF.
