  1. I don't understand the outrage. Might as well get something in exchange for my personal data. We already get bombarded with ads even when paying for streaming services cough Hulu cough and still have ads while watching cable TV (which the entire point when it was created was to offer a paid service in exchange for no advertisements) so tell me again how you can be outraged when atleast this company is being upfront how much your personal data is worth.
  2. Honestly the wan show isn't what it used to be. Half of the important tech news goes unreported on that show
  3. I had a feeling this was coming. I noticed YouTube doesn't work very well with brave browser anymore. Sometimes I'll just see a black screen when trying to play a video and as soon as turn of the brave blocker it works.
  4. Summary Starting in June Wendy's will roll out AI to their stores and begin the process of being completely automated. Quotes My thoughts Well I guess it's official boys and girls AI has started replacing people's jobs in mass scale as do as June. The estimates say this system will displace 14 million workers just at Wendy's alone. Sources https://www.techspot.com/news/98622-happening-ai-chatbot-replace-human-order-takers-wendy.html
  5. Honestly I won't sugarcoat this but the people who will lose their jobs already aren't doing their jobs. Literally no one wants to work anymore. I know tons of business owners who have to hire and fire people in the same week because they don't even show up for work anymore.
  6. O good new AMD laptops just in time for a major AMD security flaw
  7. That's unfortunate hopefully Microsoft can aquire them so we can get even more games on game pass
  8. Except it is AMD considering MSI and other boards are causing the same issues
  9. It's getting absurd at this point. Atleast for the most part Intel just works.
  10. I laugh so hard at people expecting any semblance of privacy by connecting cameras to the cloud.
  11. If your gonna use IoT devices they better be on their own vlan with zero outside connection. Then just remote in to do what you need 1000% more secure. But hey that app on your phone sure is convenient!
  12. O my gosh people stop being babies. The world doesn't stop just because new technology is released. If you people had your way we would still be reading by firelight and the wheel wouldn't have been invented because it could make us more lazy.
  13. I've been running unlocked limiters on consumer Nvidia GPUs for years. https://github.com/keylase/nvidia-patch Plex even bundles the patch with their Linux software now
  14. Are there random videos of other channels mixed in or something? There are random videos of people I've never seen on LTT.
  15. O my gosh all the old videos sooo much nostalgia just came flooding back. Remember the wan show after party!
  16. So if I'm understand it right if they cropped the image first then edited they could recover the original picture. But if they edited then cropped it they would only see a larger sized image correct?
  17. Lol your dilusional Amazon is just as big
  18. I'm not sure it seems like from the article Plex had a remote code vulnerability which if true is absolutely huge. On top of the engineer being an absolute idiot when it comes to security
  19. Well I literally can't think of a worse security protocol. Leave it to Apple to run around screaming about their superior security and then leave the entire master password input visible every time you need to enter your phone.
  20. Imagine Amazon strong arming the medical industry. Prices would drop like a rock overnight.
  21. I agree it's dumb and honestly I'm probably gonna be flamed for this but I don't see a big deal with AI art being able to be copywritten. If AI is really generating unique pieces every time then it's going to be unique no matter what.
