True indeed, however I set it to 1080 and checked the scaling was at 100%. After setting it to ultra again after I had previously set it to low, the settings went bonkers.
So I guess even though it showed a scaling of 100% (it definetly was 1080p since my second screen responds to that by changing it's scale) it was at a higher scaling. 150% or something.
 
Honestly, I'm at a loss here but whatever changed, it fixed something...

personally, I buy a pentium G4560 on an asrock h110m itx/ac MB. but since then ryzen 3 come out, maybe you can try a ryzen 3 build.

Worst case, I just don't use the case. It's a cheap case anyway. If it's a standard ATX PSU then I will probably get it and use my psu. It's got two 4 core 8 thread processors and I checked eBay, there are plenty of people selling the same computer for around the same price. If I can use my current power supply then I will definitely get it. 

Yeah, Ryzen 3 looks really nice. Going Ryzen would probably be a bit over my budget but it would be worth it
