But i feel like it would give me the same results... it honestly might be the dual gpu thing. however Dell did put the gtx 690 into their list of supported graphics cards.

like i said, there are people on this forum who know more than me. And that's good i guess, because that means I learn things.

My personal laptop is a "gaming laptop" with an i7-5500u. I don't even know what the heck alienware was doing with using a business grade processor in a laptop that's supposed for gaming. however, I did not spend full price, i got it used, so i guess it's okay. maybe.

these hard drives were scavenged from an old server. there were originally in a raid 0. i mean, that could maybe be an issue.

I love old pc scraps that people have lying around, but I usually get crap that isn't really worth using. But my friend upgraded his rig to an i7-6700k build, replacing his mobo, cpu, and ram. I asked him if I could just take his scraps off of his hands and he gave them to me. I also got an old non-descript case from him as well. It's super ghetto and thrown together, but here are some pictures. And remember, I didn't spend one cent on this machine.

Also, sorry in advance for the potato quality photos. I don't have a fantastic camera, and I don't have a smartphone.

That razer sticker was given to me, but anothe friend, but here it is. like i said, super ghetto. (I did pay a dollar for that bomb-omb sticker. so i guess I've spend a dollar on this rig so far)

So lets start with the Power supply. We had an old family computer lying around with this thing in it. A 600 watt corsair PSU. this was a pretty good find in my opinion, but it's way too much power for my build. But it was the only PSU i could find with the proper connections.

This is some non-descript 500gb hdd that i scavenged from an old server.

The CPU is a quad-core i7-870 at 2.93Ghz. It came with an intel motherboard and 8 gigs of ddr3 1333Mhz RAM. This whole find was the thing that inspired me to build this. You might say that it's old and outdated, which it is, but i got it for free, so it's better than nothing.

This is the GPU, an AMD 7700 series. again, old, but free.

Here's the inside of it. I have 3 fans, 2 intakes that are 80mm and one exhaust that's 120mm, and glows blue. That's about all the "RGB" I've got in this thing.

And that's about all I've got on this thing.

    The final specs:
    CPU: i7-870
    RAM: 8gb ddr3 1333mHZ
    PSU: 600 watt corsair
    GPU: amd 7700 series

If you want to know anything else I guess, then you can leave a comment, otherwise that's about it.

well, considering I build a PC for zero dollars, that would kind of imply that I don't exactly have the money to afford much of anything right now. That will actually be something I intend on getting in the future though.

I intend on building an AMD themed PC, Depending on whether or not their Vega architecture cards turn out well. I'm really excited to get a Ryzen, because that will definitely be my next CPU.
