If you weld the desk together then add a 1/2-3/4" wood on top, its going to be mighty heavy. Things to keep in mind: Modularity - keep In mind the need to move it - allowing for some disassembly will be good for you and your back. Perhaps weld cubed frames that are then bolted together. Risers or wheels- for the base to prop it off the ground - be able to sweep under it slide it around so you don't ruin the floor or carpet etc. Cable management -self explanatory

Removed Displayport cabre, reinserted, no picture
PCMasterDebater replied to GER_T4IGA's topic in Graphics Cards
DisplayPort cables can fail. Try a different DP cable or a HDMI cord to see if you get picture. I've had a handful of cables fail on me over the years, different types - HDMI, DP, DVI, Analog, they have all failed. -
No. Crashes don't mean completely destroyed, though your video helps clarify my point. Cars are in fender benders everyday but that doesn't mean completely destroyed, but they are still considered a crash. Survival is a subjective word. Think about veterans whom have lost a limb in battle. Sure they survived but are they the same? Are they reusable? No. Elon himself said it survived but never said it landed. No doubt about it, the thread title is misleading. The thing DID NOT land. it crashed in a controlled fashion. Fact is, you can't land on water but you can crash into it. Look closely at this picture, notice how far away they took the picture? They are hiding the damage by not releasing a close up. The fin has a hole in it, the nose Is missing, and the cylinder looks fatigued from burning up during reentry.

I'd pay $79.00 and give it to my nephew.

Now even YouTube isn't safe from cryptocurrency miners

I'm baffled that you guys think adblockers, script blockers, mineblockers are going to save you from malicious acts. Guess what? They are not infallible. A Malicious person can get more from a trash can then you can get from a computer. Thanks for being concerned for my accounts though! -

Sure do. Amazon, Facebook, and so much more. What do you think they will get if they get my CC? What max it out and drain my accounts? Its all protected by my bank and federally insured... Drain away Sir. I'll have my money back in 15 minutes or less. Keylog the shit out of it if you want. You're still assuming.... What are they going to get? My email account? nothing on it Address book? nothing saved to it CC? Go for it Bank account? federally protected My taxes? Good luck Facebook? Nothing is accurate Find where I live? That's public information My phone number? I have 10's of thousands of business cards with my name, address, phone number already out there Social Security? That's why I have lawyers GG I place my fears where they need to be: Will I get re-ended by a passed out person whom recently ingested heroin? Will the grocery store run out of ribeyes? Will I have enough beer when I get home tonight? -

Oh please. Assuming this computer was important I would agree with you. Personally I enough computers if this one was taken over by viruses, malware, ransomware, miners, ads or anything else you can think of. I'll simply wipe the drive and reinstall windows. Have you forgotten how easy it is to start from scratch when you have nothing on a SSD? Lets not assume it always matters -

Well color me a dumbass.... On one of my computers, I have no adblocker, scriptblocker, or mineblocker. I surf the web on it, watch youtube, check news sites, etc. I haven't had a single problem and I'm not just saying that. Not to say it wont happen. Its not happening often enough to necessarily warrant additional software when someone is doing mundane things. -
Loot Box Regulation Bill Introduced by Washington Senator

OOOOOoooh big spender. $200-$300 a month? DAAAAaaaaaamnmnnmnmmn boy. *mouth waters*. I wish I had me that kinda money fer surrre! 38 Years old with disposable income in the hundreds every month! Boys; take notice. I had to... You're seriously missing the point Seefer, and @mr moose did a good job of spelling it out. -
The 970 can run 1440p playing games such as csgo, league of legions, heroes of the storm, age of empires, and more. I wouldn't go playing Battlefield 1 ultra settings @ 1440p but the 970 can do it with lower settings. Another computer I have is a i5-6500 @ 4.0ghz, 8gbs ram, EVGA 970 FTW and it can push my Dell U2715H 2560x1440p no problem. Dial the settings in accordingly. I don't game on this PC but I did load up CSGO one day to entertain my nephew. It was a blast.

The detailed article was a bit long winded for me :p. I clicked the link, scrolled a bit, gasped, then exited: lol. Thanks for linking the parts list; I wouldn't have seen it otherwise. Never the less the parts list is very nice and by the looks mighty comfortable. How do you like that monitor? I've been thinking about a 4k but I'm waiting for a 32" IPS 4k @ 144hz <4ms response for sub $1500.
