  1. I just tested it in a quick game. Once you become King or Emperor the only titles where you can change the succession laws are Kingdom and Empire level. Usually all de jure titles below those should change as well which may explain the problem as the Kingdom of Ireland is not de jure liege over those other territories. You could either wait for them to become de jure parts(takes a very long time), form their Kingdom level-titles(should be doable) or edit the save file.
  2. Do you have multiple Duchies/Kingdoms/Empires by any chance? If so you need to set all laws to primogeniture iirc
  3. Yes, because having a cold-hearted computer program in charge of such things as nuclear weapons is truly better than what we are currently dealing with. /s
  4. This is one of those things where technology, in my opinion, goes way too far.
  5. There is a very real chance I have signed away my soul by now.
  6. I'm assuming this is CAD, not USD in which case an exact duplicate of those specs(http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/m3FwTW) is only about 200 cheaper. This has the added benefit of having assembly done already and verification that all the parts are working together as well as in general warranty over the entire build. It's a good deal.
  7. That seems very much intentional.
  8. Now if only they allowed yubikey as mechanism to log in
  9. Alternatively explain to him why you need it removed and have him temporarily disable it so you can finish your project.
  10. Rig name: Zeus Cpu: i7 4770k, not currently overclocked Gpu: Asus Direct CU II GTX 780 Ram: 16 GB DDR3 1600 Mhz Score: 4.2
  11. You're comparing an absolute crazy difference in speeds on a different memory technology with a very unique game.
  12. Most of the time a higher amount beats a higher speed but as with all things, context is key. If your apps never use more than 16 Gigs of RAM getting 64 is insane, etc.
  13. It isn't that they want to block the content, it's that they are legally obligated to. So as said before, not Netflix' fault.
  14. Hey all, So for the past few months I have been looking into upgrading my by now ancient laptop which I've been using for University. It has served me well to date but the hardware is starting to show age and the battery won't hold for as long as I'm going to need it in the near future without charge. This has eventually boiled into three options. Dell XPS 13 1080p non-touchscreen with an i5 6200U, 8 GB RAM and 256 GB SSD for €1299 HP Spectre x360 13-4159 1080p touchscreen with an i7 6500U, 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD for €1259(regular price is 1399 but I get 10% student discount) Asus Zenbook UX305UA 1080p non-touchscreen with an i5 6200U, 4GB RAM(though expandable to 8) and 256 GB SSD for €999 My primary use case for this is of course University but the key here is battery life. I am going to be traveling a lot and wanting to do work on the go as well as using it during lectures in rooms where there is not always access to an outlet. As such an Ultrabook could very well have to do 8 hours or more of regular activities(browsing, word, most of the time with wi-fi) without a charge in between. Beyond this when I'm somewhere in home I would like to be able to stream a game off of my desktop if I don't feel like going to the basement or just feel like enjoying the sun in the upcoming summer. The combination of these elements is leading me to the Spectre as from the reviews I've read the Asus doesn't do that well with battery this generation and it's a lot cheaper than the Dell while having a higher their cpu and a touchscreen enabled screen which can come in handy for me. On the other hand, despite having had a HP before that did fine, I have read bad things about them and I don't want something that breaks down in a year or two. Any recommendations/personal experiences would be strongly appreciated.
  15. Well first of all, if you want true upgrade ability you'll want to go with a desktop. Beyond that I'd seriously look into the Razer Blade Stealth, once the core add-on is released you can install different GPU's on it.
  16. No, that's just a regular laptop, Apart from very few exceptions they are not upgradable beyond ssd/hdd and ram.
  17. RAM won't do much for performance and you can't install a gpu in that laptop.
  18. You can't upgrade the cpu of a laptop to a desktop cpu, or in general with a G50-70
  19. Xeons aren't consumer CPU's, the fact that they work for consumers is a happy coincidence but certainly not policy.
  20. It's the kind of product that sounds really nice at first but when you really think about it actually is kind of crap.
