I've been intriguied by linux for awhile and have decided a want to pull the plug and try it. Now I am curios what version of linux should I use? I have had my eyes on luna (elementary os), GNOME 3, and ubuntu.

I just purchased a kingston hyperx 3k 240gb ssd and it is be used as a secondary drive, it shows up in device manager but not in disk management. My motherboard is a msi z77 mpower using a i5 3570k.
