  1. My reason for asking here is because in not super uptodate on the handheld market. For me the price and for what i want to use it for i think its the best solution(older AAA games and newer indies) I dont travel, i will near 100% just be using it on the couch or similar so i can play while my girlfriend plays on the tv. And I have a PC for heavier titles. Questions are: Is a new one coming in the next 4-6 months? Are there others coming out that seem really cool? Is there a reason to NOT get this one and instead go with a more expensive Ally or similar?
  2. Just saw this on youtube and havent heard anything about this before, might be remembering something i heard on the WAN show about new things coming to premium and i guess this might be it
  3. ok, thanks price difference for me here for some reason was only like 100$ so going with the higher end cpu i think unless i find some deal somewhere
  4. 1440p for gaming and 4k as secondary
  5. Budget (including currency): 10,000SEK or around 1000$, can go higher for good reasons Country: Sweden Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming with a focus on strategy and management games, which will include the new cities skylines. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): My gpu is a 3080, and i dont need anything else for the system. My cpu is running behind, currently an old 6700k, so for an upgrade of that i will need to upgrade the motherboard, which to not hamper me in the future kinda makes me need to upgrade it to DDR5 so i need to upgrade my RAM as well. Reason for asking here is that i know NOTHING about AMD their offerings and find their naming confusing as hell so no idea what to even look at there and when it comes to cpu i dont really feel the need for the newest stuff as my 6700k has lasted me this long(top of the line when i bought it). Dont care if its AMD or Intel just whats good for my use case and price to performance, Thanks for the help CPU: ? Mobo:(as long as i know the socket i can find one, unless someone has a recommendation)
  6. Country: Sweden So im looking to do a mobo and cpu upgrade, and i find myself looking at if its worth going to DDR5, since that means getting new ram for 250$ or more and a increased cost for the mobo by 150$. my currently build already has 32gb corsair Platinums DDR4 which i could just reuse to save money. My use case is gaming, and will be running a 12th gen i5 and a RTX 3080
  7. new tech device is fun and new.. thats about it and from what iv read/watched the mini is the full iphone 13 just smaller screen and battery
  8. i use it for music and youtube at work for about 9 hours a day, so its a daily full drain and recharge i think caused it, its still fine most days, coming home at around 14-20% most days
  9. well i usually always buy unlocked as well, currently using a One plus 7 pro, so with a contract i would be paying like 10-15€ more a month than i do now, and i dont need a new phone the one i have works fine, getting a bit low on the battery after these years but otherwise great, its more because i like new tech, also smaller phone is nice used to do Sony´s small phones in the past.
  10. My contract is soon ending and iv always been anti apple and their closed system, but im not even really using more than phone and bluetooth headphones anyhow.. Now the bad bad thoughts im having is picking a Iphone 13 Mini as my next phone.. should I? and are there any problems im not seeing? iv never had any apple products. My reason for this is simply ONE thing, it looks so damn sexy :P
  11. maybe one of sony´s compact phones? iv used one until i just upgraded and i really liked it, being a bit smaller made it fit in my hand great, and it has all those other things you look for as well
  12. probably better and possibly cheaper to just get a usb dac then, since they seem to have 3.5mm connector as well
  13. ok, first, optical sucks for high quality audio. No second needed
  14. ok yea curved glass is a bit annoying, but for me the most important thing for getting the 7t was not having a hole in my screen. oh and the speed is real, its amazing!
  15. if you start seeing massive slowdowns in the games that you dont think you should, there might be something wrong with the cards cooling, but if you get the fps then everything is fine
