Where are you shopping/located? Budget?

If you can get the Gaming X for that price, go for it!

That's a great price, who cares if it performs within a margin of error in benches or overclocking, you're saving enough money, especially since MSI makes some of the best coolers for AMD.

PowerColor Red Devil RX 470 is a great card. But Gaming X is also great, Sapphire's 400 series isn't impressive, so they don't really excel at anything in that regard.
 
I'd get either Gaming X or Red Devil. Get the cheaper one.

Man, that's worth a buy. MSI does make some good product these days. I don't know what happen with Sapphire... They had great coolers...

As far as i know, Sapphire was and is the largest supplier of AMD graphic cards, but if you have found MSI for less than 150 bucks, it's worth of buying, differences are not that big deal , you can always manually OC if the clock speeds are not good enough for you. Anyway, if you don't like it, you can always return it for another one.

An MSI RX 470 Gaming X for $150 sounds too good to be true. I hope you're not buying it on ebay or craigslist or from someone other than a well known retailer only to end up with say a GT 630 with a BIOS hack to read RX 470 in GPU-Z.

Oh ok, that's where you buy from legit retailers but get discounts for things like paying from debit card and not being able to return without a restocking fee? I wonder how that works if the card is damaged or not working properly. Anyways, the MSI RX 470 Gaming X is an excellent card and yeah I'd probably take that deal then.

There is nothing you can do to that processor that wont make it a bottleneck. Get a 1060 and i5 6600k.
