This seems a little low for Ryzen 7, especially at 4 GHz. Are all those applications running in the background as you run the test? Just for reference in this review the 1800X does 1618 in Cinebench R15: http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/amd_ryzen_7_1800x_processor_review,10.html

World of Tanks New Player Promotion (Pre-Roll Landing Page)
NuclearKing replied to CPotter's topic in LTT Releases
Its like that on both sides on the fence. Some people enjoy tier 8-10 because (for the most part) they can play with people that have attained some skill against people that are skilled too. Some people hate it for that reason, too competitive. So they stay at the lower tiers where play is more relaxed but at the same time a little less rewarding. I for one cannot tolerating anything below tier 7. The players are unreliable, the balancing of tanks is even more lopsided than the higher tiers, and seal clubbing just isn't that fun. Depending on your playstyle and skill really you can choose the tier that you find the most rewarding. Its a bad idea to play a tier just because its higher if its no fun. -
World of Tanks New Player Promotion (Pre-Roll Landing Page)

Yeah, I genuinely enjoy it, playing it currently. There really isn't an MMO anywhere that requires strategy, planning, instinct, and knowledge of such a variety of enemies as this one, and mastering (or even getting decent at it) is immensely rewarding. I fully acknowledge the game has issues, but all in all its "premium" aspects are more a matter of progression, not necessarily getting an advantage. For example, premium ammo doesn't need to be fired often, and can be bought with in-game credits, for a free to play player they are perfectly affordable when necessary. A premium account will certainly speed up advancement to tier 10, but it is still doable, and gaining tier 8-9 is quite easy without a premium account. Again, plenty of issues, but at its core this game can be quite a lot of fun, particularly when some skill is attained. Not to mention it has an excellent youtube community (Quickybaby, Lemmingrush, Desgames just to mention a few) that provide invaluable advice and entertainment related to the game. Its not for everyone, but at least check it out before you knock it -

He is new at this, and is working off of a Ryzen build guide video and my help over text. He forgot to plug in CPU power, so currently giving it another go with that fixed.- 8 replies

Yes, that is correct. How would you go about with a CMOS reset? Semi-detailed steps would be best- 8 replies

So my friend built his fresh Ryzen 1600 system, and booted it but forgot to plug in the power to the GPU for the first time. Obviously, stupid mistake. But now, it wont turn off, even with a 10 second power button hold-down so he can get power to the GPU. What should he do? FYI: Specs are as follows Ryzen 5 1600 16GB DDR4 Asrock AB350 Pro4 R9 280X (He will be replacing soon) 240GB SSD

Yup, I'll make sure he keeps it in mind.

Already happened. Ordered on Monday, and he gets to build it tomorrow evening. The 1070 is coming a bit later, so he's using his old R9 280X as a stopgap until the 1070 arrives

Yup, he's got a 240 GB SSD as the primary drive. Thats what he's planning with the 900p moniter
-
The FTW3 was the cheapest 1070 currently in Canada. Also RAM that high frequency is stupid expensive here, just didnt make sense. The main joke was the 900p monitor. He's going to upgrade, but for now he's sticking with 900p for a bit.
-
So his specs are as follows: R5 1600 16 GB G-Skill 2400 MHz RAM B350 Pro GTX 1070 FTW 3 Phanteks Case ...and an old 900p monitor he's recycling pls halp
