    TLDR/TLDW
     
    DX11  GTX1060 6GB
     
    DX12  RX 480
     
     
    GTX1060 runs cooler, uses less power, higher clockspeed, can't SLi
     
    RX 480 runs hotter, use a bit more power, higher memory bandwidth, higher memory capacity, CrossFire ready

    Then no. WD Red drives are designed to work exceptionally well in NAS and RAID environments. For desktop and gaming PCs, you'd be better off going with a normal Seagate Barracuda, WD Blue or WD Black if you wanted to spend a little more. 
     
    In desktop situations, WD Reds don't really have any benefit over WD Blue drives. Nothing worth paying for, at least.
