  1. I would recommend building on the glass table because it will prevent your components from being shocked. The wooden floor would also be acceptable, but building up static charge on the carpet is likely, and that could damage components (so I would personally avoid the carpet).
  2. I just got this thing and it's fricking fast and I love it. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834850068&cm_re=lenovo_y720-_-34-850-068-_-Product
  3. Where do you find those kinds of prices? (legit question, no sass I promise :p)
  4. Thanks a ton dude, I really appreciate the time and thought that you put into responding to my post. Based on what you said, and also the amazon reviews, I'm going to go with the SHP9500s and a V-MODA BoomPro. The design looks more appealing to me (the way it's built, not just the aesthetics) and the reviews are more consistent. I'd just like to thank you again for your time and knowledge, since it sounds like my suspicion about the Cloud II's being too "gamer-y" was correct, and hopefully this improves my experience from what it would have been.
  5. Hey guys, I'm looking to get a pair of headphones for less than $100. My primary use for them will be gaming, and having a microphone is a must. I also listen to music on spotify, and I'm far from an audiophile, so the sound quality doesn't have to be top notch, my main priority is reliability and build quality. Right now the headphones that I'm looking at are the HyperX Cloud II's. Are there better ones that I can get for a similar price ($100), or maybe similar ones for a lower price? I've done a fair amount of research but I made a mistake on the last set of headphones I bought and I'm looking for some reassurance in my purchasing decision this time I've looked through this forum a fair amount for a similar post but I can't find one with a comparable budget (maybe there is one, sorry if this is a redundant post).
  6. It would appear that the cooler sticks out more than the gpu (towards the side panel) which isn't apparent in the second picture, but it gives the illusion of being closer in the first picture.
  7. My Mionix Naos 7000 works amazingly for me, I would definitely recommend it.
  8. That might have attracted too many boys to your yard anyways
  9. I'm a fan of my Mionix Naos, pretty balling ergonomic mouse that's great for my 2xl sized hands
  10. rip unboxings. If I had the money, this would be mine... Oh well.
  11. it says its $43 right now. so @theninja35 you could have had 48 gb
  12. This is hardly a hot deal, it goes on sale practically every two minutes.
  13. Can you say more than "Thx"? It's getting on my nerves and ruining the build log as a whole.
  14. Can I have this for free + shipping and handling?
  15. I actually used to have this exact card, and it served me well for about a year before I had an influx of cash and splurged on the then-new gtx 760. This is very good for a budget build and runs minecraft at about 200 fps paired with a phenom II X4 965. It can run battlefield 3, maxed out at 1080p with playable 40-60 fps, sometimes dropping with explosions.
