Hello, did you get yourself a P106? If you did, what was the experience like? Did any games support it? Or was it straight up money in the bin?

I would like it to be in jpg. its currently in jpg format as well. I just want it compressed to free up some HDD space. i will not be using it for anything special.

Hello, I have a few hundred images where each image is around 5 mb in size with 3504x4672 dimensions. I would like to reduce the size of each image to around 1mb and I dont mind the resolution going down to 1920x1080. I have never done this before and from my search i bumped into this tool called Caesium Image Compressor. Would like to know if this is the best tool for the job or if theres any other better alternatives that will retain a better image quality during the compression. Thanks.

I use Userbenchmark all the time thinking it was accurate as few years ago I was recommended by some guys in this forum when I used to cite cpuboss & gpuboss. so now what should I look upto if I want to compare gpus and cpus?

From my personal experience, ebay has always refunded me when a seller doesnt ship an item. I have been a victim of a few fake ads myself where the seller posts an ad at a very low price, I even messaged them through ebay messages to confirm if the item in question is in working order and they reply by saying yes. once I bought the item and the transaction completes, the seller would close their ebay account. after the delivery deadline was done and as i didnt receive the item, I opened a case on ebay and ebay refunded the amount to my paypal within 2 days after their investigation. I have been refunded to my bank account too when I bought an item using my credit card. As kelvinhall05 said, ebay sides with the buyer most of the time. My dad once ordered something and it didnt arrive on the deadline so he opened a case and got refunded within 24hrs. the item he bought arrived 2 weeks later. so he got it for free and didnt know how to pay back the seller. when an item doesnt arrive just wait around 7 days and open a case, ebay handles the rest.

I will be buying a GPU possibly a gtx 960 or a gtx 1050 by December and pair with this TV if it offers playable experience in single player games and in Rainbow 6 siege online. OR if I find a gud deal on a PS4, i might get one of those and pair with this TV. Would like to know if its experience with a PS4 will also be bad. Thanks

I would keep it in auto as some programs throw errors or crash altogether. I once manually set my virtual memory for a specific task and I forgot to turn it back to auto. When I tried to play Sekiro several months later the game would freeze and crash during loading screens. It took me couple of days to figure out it was the manually set virtual memory that was causing it.

sadly no. a few computer stores give like 5% off pathetic discounts which hardly counts as a discount. For consoles theres no proper agent here. there are a few companies that bring sony devices such as TVs but not consoles. The stores that bring them probably keep a high profit margin and sell them which makes the console very overpriced. Which is why even the used market price is pretty high.

This sort of thing happened to me sometime back and I think I got it running by simply restarting the windows explorer service from task manager.

So I have always wanted a PS4 to play the PS exclusives but never could afford one as they are quite expensive in our country. The used market isnt that cheap either. However when the PS5 hits the stores im expecting many people would sell their PS4s to upgrade to the PS5 and as a result im hoping the prices will go down a bit lower. My biggest concern however is their reliability. The last console I had was an Xbox 360, had 2 of them and both got RROD. I really dont want to go through another one of those situations as consoles are pretty much un-repairable to my experience because everything is on the mobo. Is it 'safe' If i were to get a used one of those early 500gb PS4 models or even the ones that came later?

Few months back I had an issue with my Realtek audio driver in my laptop. I downloaded it from the HP website on the drivers page and they didnt work. Then I tried it on the realtek website and that didnt work either. I then downloaded driverpack and updated it through that and that did the trick.

is its power consumption much higher as well

im looking at the local used market. i cant get a gud deal on a gpu where I live for anything better than these two. Importing from overseas is not an option. The other only option that maybe available is an RX 570. but they are a bit rare

I have 2 used ones as well. Both died on me the first one I got was just after passing school. didnt have a job so i had a really hard time to get my dad buy one . it was expensive too even though it was used. 6 months later it gave me 3 red lights and I still remember the heart attack I got. my dad who knows electronics help me get it back up after several days of swapping parts (heat sinks in this case). Then again after few days it came. Then I had to keep doing the old hair drier trick to get it back on. It worked like this for 3 months and it suddenly powered off while I was playing for gud. There was a burnt mark in the mobo. Then I found the second one which was broken and dirt cheap from a guy living in a rural area. i got it delivered. It had that E71 error. dad had a look at it found that it had a blown cap. he replaced it and it was back in business. it worked for like 6 months and it started giving all kinds of E number errors and RROD. It sometimes worked with the hair drier heating trick but one day the xbox logo came and then it went black screen. even today it powers on sometimes but the screen goes black or gets pixelated and gets 3 Rings. Im guessing GPU had gone bad in it. I really loved the 360 when it worked. had soo much fun. Really wish if the reliability issues weren't there.

yea. as i know theres some serial number that pairs the dvd drive to the mobo i think. Theres a special reading tool to extract it and then u can reflash the dvd drive to match it with the one in the mobo/cpu. Then it should work with the games. But I remember this tool being quite expensive. If it still is, I think these days u can get another 360 from ebay for that money.

I think its because their customer has specifically requested McAfee. Usually my dads workplace gets their customers kaspersky.
