I learned programming in AS 2.0 when I first started. Most of the fun I had was using a program called mProjector, which added libraries geared towards desktop software and compiled to an executable, spent most of my time from age 12 to 14 making windowless desktop widgets and the like. Really fun and easy.
 
I always hoped adobe would eventually add that kind of feature to the language but instead we got flex and all that nonsense  Makes me sad.

Some of you guys are just assholes you know? "Hopefully he'll start making videos soon" Like seriously? This man is fucking devastated. His fucking HOME with all his memories, family pictures, EVERYTHING is gone. Stop being fucking selfish and put yourself in his shoes. All his computers disintegrated, all the review items, all his cell phones, his cameras, all his tech is now gone. He doesn't even have clothes anymore and you're worrying about fucking videos? I'd be a little bit more worried about where he's going to stay or how he's going to make a list of everything lost in the fire in order to recover some money from the insurance company. I'd be a little more worried about his health right now. This is his home we're talking about that's now gone. His home was worth a bare minimum of half a million and now that's gone. Imagine the trauma he just had that his house was full of smoke and fire and he had to rush to get out to save his life and those in the house. Please stop being selfish assholes and worry about more important things. This isn't directed to everyone, but only to the people who said that "Hopefully he'll start to make videos soon". Sorry if this was a little too harsh but that really fucking pissed me off.
