    Testing Free-sync

Free-sync used to work fine. I could clearly see the difference with AMD_FreeSync_Demo_0_9_1_setup but I don't think it's working anymore ever since I used DDU and installed the latest non optional driver from AMD Radeon Software Version 19.1.1 Adrenaline. I get horrible stuttering in the demo. Games are more fine but still something is amiss and I have trouble aiming. If it doesn't work in the demo, maybe it also doesn't work in games, and it looks like its the case. I tried the gsync one, it doesn't stutter as much but I'm 95% sure free sync isn't working correctly as I see stuttering and tearing, in reduced amount sbut still and turning free sync on and off doesn't make a difference. Does anyone have a better test pattern software?

    Overclocking 4k monitor with AMD

so the panel input itself or the controller has hit it's maximum? I thought I could atleast try to run it past its maximum like with my other monitor

    Overclocking 4k monitor with AMD

I have DP 1.2 which is listed to support up to 75hz 4k on wikipedia

    Overclocking 4k monitor with AMD

Regardless of what refresh rate I input in custom resolution using the amd control panel, the control panel says it's not compatible with the display. I had no problem overclocking my 1080p monitor.

We can in desktop mode when moving the mouse around. Also, wouldn't higher refresh rate always help even if the framerate is unchanged? One can also choose high fps low detail or low res and then high res, low fps. Some games benefit from the high res, others from high details and also a lot of older games (not that old) will fully take advantage of 4k 144hz. I'm outraged at this statement.

    Does DP 1.2 (not 1.2a) support Free-sync?

I'm surprised it wouldn't work over HDMI

    Does DP 1.2 (not 1.2a) support Free-sync?

    so the answer is yes?
  10. Does DP 1.2 (not 1.2a) support Free-sync on any monitor that supports freesync for dp 1.2a? I'm looking to buy this: https://www.primecables.ca/fr/p-347300-cab-dp-mm-6ft-primecables-6ft-premium-28awg-displayport-12-male-to-male-cable-support-4k60hz-black?atc_source=search%23display+port

How come the one and only user can use 4GB and the whole system uses 12GB? Yes, I did check at the bottom of the memory order and there were no mis-listed programs down there.
