I bought it and I didn't even get a uplay/Steam key, it's direct download or torrent only I think from Humble Bundle

Don't get me wrong there are many, many problems with our government and economy but we do pretty well here in Australia -

I believe the penalty for not voting is only about $20 in order to strike a medium between literally forcing people to vote and not enforcing it at all. I'm not sure whether or not this accumulates or is related with not actually registering but it's more just a slap on the wrist than anything. This. 100% this. (although our economy is tapering off now ) Shouldn't be happening regardless but I found the comments in response to the quotes a little sensationalist... -
Why isn't 3.5" SSDs a thing at all? I get portability and laptops and whatnot but if there were 3.5" SSDs for desktops and servers then capacity could easily be 3-4x what we could achieve now with no exponential cost increase on the manufacturer.

Or Valve could pick up their game and actually get VAC to a point where it is effective enough in 99% of cases in a timely manor - It's kind of hilarious doing overwatch and seeing people blatantly walling. It's no different from drugs in other sports and should be treated as such by both parties (FACEIT and Valve). Banning players is great and all but how about going to the source of the problem and making it harder for them to cheat. To those saying how distracting it is to have someone watch you play - they'd be somewhat used to it from tournaments and many of them stream so I don't really think that's a big problem.

(amazon) 3M Monitor Privacy Filter (different prices)
HaZardousLP replied to Tocsin_786's topic in Hot Deals
Could save a tonne of money by getting crappy TN monitors But really, in settings where privacy is important, these would be great - banks, airports, anywhere there is confidential information really. -
What the Tech World Doesn't Understand About Fashion
HaZardousLP replied to Rohith_Kumar_Sp's topic in Tech News
I don't see why a tech company can't provide the technology for a company such as Rolex to design a product for, it seems to me that it would be the best of both worlds while putting whatever price tag they want on it because it's "fashion" -
I'd love a few 10TB drives, only I think I'd have to take out a mortgage in order to afford them

I like Xperia UI, not a huge amount of bloat - you can't delete some of it but it rarely bothers you (mostly opt-in crap) As above, locked bootloader and if you root you'll end up with a shitty camera due to their proprietary algorithms coming down from their DSLRs I believe. Good camera in the first place though.

Microsoft will support biometric password-killers on Windows 10

I may be wrong but I believe there are limitations that render it somewhat useless with things like logging/turning on -
There would definitely have been an NDA if this person had gotten the game from the developers which makes it illegal to post really anything about the game until release or an embargo date. Honestly, they're lucky they just had the channel closed down, there could easily be legal action if an NDA was broken. EDIT: Was the gameplay video a single video or multiple? If it was multiple parts then each video taken down would constitute a strike and 3 strikes closes a channel.
